chapter 4

The next day tara went over to the benches to sit with chad liv and mindy, wes wasn't there since he was probably mad and didn't wanna see tara or mindy again.

Chad smiled and waved
"Hey tarbear what's up!"

Tara sits down and scoffs

"Tarbear? Seriously?"

"Well, if I'm able to explain, we came up with the name 'tarbear' for you because you're short and cuddly like a Teddy bear, and also your name is tara, tara + bear = tarbear"  mindy explains

"Thank you mindy" liv says sarcastically

"Wow guys really" Tara laughs

"Hey tara? where's wes? he's usually with you" chad asks.

Mindy awkwardly looks at tara and tara speaks.

"Well, we broke up, for real this time, i didn't like our relationship, and he constantly bullies others, like this girl amber who I've became friends with, he was jealous and being a prick so i broke up with him"

"He did what? I can't believe he'd do stuff like that, in that case I'm glad you two broke up" chad says in a panicked tone.

"He didn't-- like, he didn't hurt you did he? When you broke up" chad asks worryingly.

"He probably would have but mindy was there for backup"

"Oh thank fuck, thank you mindy" chad nods.

"So now that that's over, why don't we all go to McDonald's after school?" Liv suggests

Before they can answer they hear yelling in the distance and see a crowd of students.

The group looks at eachother and quickly gets up to go look at what it is.

When they get there they see wes pushing someone with raven hair.

"Are you the reason she broke up with me? Huh? You fucking freak?!"

Tara stares in worry as she realises who he's pushing.

She sees Amber in front of him being pushed and yelled at, she just stands there and doesn't say anything.

"Why won't you answer me?! You fucking loser? You're so fucking quiet you might as well end up as a school shooter!" Wes pushes her one more time and she swiftly pulls out a switchblade from her leather jacket and flicks it open.

"Who's a fucking school shooter huh?! Who is!" She points the knife at him as he moves backwards looking horrified.

"You're fucking crazy!"

"No fucking shit!"

Chad runs through the crowd and goes inbetween them pushing them apart.

"That's enough! Wes, back the fuck off, Amber please put the knife away"

Amber angrily glares at wes and then puts the knife away after Chad shows up.

"Alright"

Wes just smiles and walks away.

Chad turns to amber after he leaves

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm good thanks."

"Come with us and you can tell us about what happened"

"okay"

Amber sits down at the benches with tara and the group as she explains what happened.

"I was walking and listening to music and then he just grabbed me by the collar and started yelling, he was blaming me for tara breaking up with him, i told him i wasn't and then he started pushing me, and after a while i just had enough, i wasn't intending on hurting him with the knife i just have it for self defense."

Chad nods and claps his hands together.

"Well in that case, you can hang out with us if you want, so you have less of a chance of being picked on"

Amber smiles and nods
"I would like that"

After a few seconds of silence liv breaks in.

"So like,,, do you have the hots for tara?"

"LIV" tara yells

Everyone just starts laughing and amber looks at tara.

"I mean, kind of"

Tara blushes and stutters.

"OOOOOOOOO"

"MINDY SHUT THE FUCK UP"
