chapter 7

Over the school break the group decided to go to the mall together, they all went shopping and ate at five guys together.

Everyone was eating their food and talking with eachother, Amber was drinking her oreo milkshake and everyone else was eating.

After they had finished they decided they wanted to go to the arcade, everyone was walking and Amber and Tara were trailing further behind, Amber and Tara were laughing and talking whilst Amber had her arm around Tara's shoulder lovingly as she giggled at something Amber said.

Since it was the school break, they saw lots of people from their school walking by, and their day was fine since no one bothered them. Until they did.

Amber accidentally brushed shoulders with a blonde boy who was walking by.

"Hey watch it dude-" the boy said and as he turned around and they realised who both of them were he started glaring daggers at Amber.

"Oh no fucking way! It's the school shooter!"

It was Wes Hicks, Jesus christ why does this little bitch boy have to show up everywhere?

When he saw Amber's arm around Tara he started to grow angry.

"Should've known. You broke up with me for that fucking freak? You could really do better Tara, whatever happened to us? We used to be so close and then you just ended things like that!?" He started

"Come on Tara, we were amazing together" He smirked

"Maybe if you really were 'so amazing' then she wouldn't have broken up with you"

A voice spoke from behind wes and when he turned around he saw Chad stood there towering over him.

"Chad! What's up my dude"

"Don't 'my dude' me, you know the shit you did and im not siding with you, we were bros but now we're nothing, so before things get ugly I'd advise you back away from them, Amber has always been the better person than you anyways" Chad glared at him

Wes just scoffed and walked away with his jock friends.

"Whatever"

When they walked away Mindy and Liv walked up with them glaring at Wes when he walked away.

"What the hell happened"

"Just Wes being his usual self, trying to tell me why we were a 'good' couple, being a prick to Amber" Tara spoke

Mindy scoffed

"What a fucking pussy"

"You tell me"

"Alright enough about him, let's go to the arcade!" Chad says

"WOOO" Mindy cheers as they all start walking.

After a while in the arcade Mindy went going to the comic book shop as the others went elsewhere.

Amber was going to go somewhere with Tara but she wanted to use the restroom for a minute.

Amber told her she would be waiting outside of the shop just next door.

When Tara had exited the bathroom and had started walking Wes appeared in front of her and put his arm above her against the wall.

"we meet again, looks like fate is bringing us together afterall" He smirks

"Wes i already told you I'm in a relationship" Tara moved to exit but he blocked her way again.

"Woah Woah what's the rush? We could still talk things out, look, i don't have anything against you or your sexuality, I'm fine with it, but Amber? Why do you like her? What if she hurts you or one day she snaps and---" wes continues

"And what?"

"Brings a gun into school,, you know."

"Wes! What the fuck is wrong with you, she'd never do that" Tara yells

"Well maybe you don't know her as well as you think you do! She pulled a knife on me, she's aggressive, she hit me! Which was self defense but she's fucking crazy! You should know that you're smart"

"Fuck this"

Tara walks out and Wes grabs her arm and walks out after her.

"Tara wait!"

"WES STOP! LET GO OF ME"

Amber, who happened to be waiting outside of the store, saw what was happening and ran over to them.

"Hey! Get your hands off of her"

She pulls his arm off of Tara and he pushes Amber.

Amber's blood boils and she forcefully shoves Wes against a wall, he punches her in the ribs and she punches him in the face knocking him down.

"STOP!" Tara yells

Wes gets up and pushes Amber against a railing, they were on the second floor which means that if he hadn't realised what was happening he would've most likely sent her toppling over the edge.

At least he has some sense.

When he pulls her away from the railing and goes to hit her security pulls them away from eachother as wes keeps yelling.

After that everyone was kicked out and the others went home.

When Tara went home, she couldn't believe that she was actually considering what Wes said about her not knowing Amber that well.

Maybe he was right, but she brushed the thought of her head, Amber was sweet,
She was protective, not possessive. She's friendly and loving and she would never hurt her.

She didn't even know what to think anymore.
