WEEKENDS ENDED, IT'S a day for school.

I'm studying at a private School, finally and currently on 12th grade. Just a few months more before I graduate.

"Vine! Let's go to the cafeteria!" Riss shouted as he walk, no, runs towards me.

Riss is a friend that I've known for two years already. Just when I decided to continue my studies in Senior Grade after two years.

And same as me, he's a Beta.

"I'm not going to eat." I'm saving money and I don't really eat at School.

He frowned. "I'll treat you. Lol, I've got my money from the part time last time. Not plenty but it's enough."

"Use it for yourself, then." It's his money and the fruit of his hardwork. "Don't just treat other people using it."

"What do you mean by other people? You're my friend ofcourse!"

The side of my lips rise up. "Even so."

He start on ranting so I don't have a choice but to go with him. But ofcourse, I didn't let him to do what he wanted.

"Is sandwich enough for a lunch?" He asked, while his mouth was still full of food.

I just bought something easier to eat. "Yes." I'm used to it anyway.

"Hmm." He finally swallows the food in his mouth. "By the way, have you found a job on Sundays?"

Oh. "Not yet." Why's he asking for that?

Riss knew all of my jobs everyday, more likely. He was jealous so he looked for a part-time job for himself as well. But just for weekends.

Though he also didn't agree of the idea of me having a job for Sundays.

"I need more money, you see." Money that I'll earn myself by working, I mean.

He looks hesitant to speak at first but, "I was planning on not recommending this to you but, the payment was a real deal. Just a work for night shift in Sundays."

Night shift, and a great payment? "I won't do strips."

He protests. "It's not it! Just a work at a bar."

I finished my sandwich and drank some water. "Okay. Speak."

Riss stated that a friend of his father owned a bar. They were in need of waiter for Sunday's nightshift. It was him who supposed to go but they seemed not hiring some 19 year old high schooler boy.

You should be atleast 21 above.

"Well, you're 21 already so I just thought of recommending you.." he sighed. "Well, its okay if you don't go. It would be better that way-"

"I'll go." Such a waste to not accept it.

His eyes widened. "Are you sure? That's a bar-"

"And?" It's just waitering. "It's not like I'm going to service and entertain some women for the night." Or men?

He looks like he has something to say again, but prefer just to stay quiet.

I accepted it, though I'm quite confused on something.

"Let's go there after your tutoring class today. I'll introduce you to the owner."  We finished our food and we were now walking in the hallway. Students can be seen and has their own business chatting with another.

Oh. "Let's go after school."

His forehead curled. "What about your tutoring?"

About that.. "He got something up in their place. It would be a week or two."

His eyes sparkles. "Then you're free for the time being? Let's go hangout after school then-"

"I'll be on shop for the time being." I already sent a message to my boss.

Riss eyes changed and were now thinned. "Thats the only time you can have some free time for yourself- Ah. I can already predict what will you answer next. Your time shouldn't be wasted on something like that and you prefer doing jobs instead."

"Bingo."

He looked at me helplessly. It's not like he was not seeing that coming or what.

"Oh well, do whatever you want."

As we led the way here, a strong force suddenly bumped on the side of my shoulder, luckily didn't make me lose my balance completely.

"Fuck. Stay out of my way." The cause of that was this guy.

He was taller than me. No wonder the force were too strong.

And there's alot of sweat coming from his body.

His intimidating gaze locked at mine. The fierceness on his stare almost feel like can leave a hole in my eyes. His jaw were even clenching.

If looks could kill, then I'll be dead by now.

What? Is he waiting for me to apologize? Like I would.

He didn't say a word, and we just keep on staring at each other's faces.

"My, my..." Riss, on the other hand separates the gap between me and the other guy. "My friend's sorry, please forgive him."

What?

The guy still has the fierce look. "Don't ever block my way again." He said and threw that look again at me.

"Yes, yes. We understand." What's wrong with Riss?

"Tsk. Damned Betas." As soon as the guy starts on walking, that was the time were I just noticed that he was actually grabbing someone, walking together with him. They both seemed to have an urgent business to do elsewhere.

"Who-oh! That was close." A hint of relief was visible on Riss as he sighed heavily.

"What are you doing? It's not like I'm the one who was only at fault." He was the one who bumped on me first.

"Didn't you recognize that guy?" The confused look on his face was funny, but I didn't dare to comment.

"No." Who was that guy anyway.

"Wow. Why am I not surprised at all." Riss slightly shaking his head. "That's Jeihan. A popular yet dangerous guy in our School."

Popular? How come? "I didn't even know him."

"I'll be surprised if you do. You don't even remember our professors names."

Well.

"Well, don't ever, ever try and let yourself messes with that guy."

Like I even want to see him again. "He's just tall."

"It's not like that. That guy.."

Why's he so scared on that guy? Did something perhaps happen?

"That guy's... an Alpha. A Dominant one."
