I RESTED FOR two days. And I feel totally fine now.

I told Riss that I can attend class for today, but he said that I should rest at home because it's already Friday anyway.

'Just rest for today as well. I'll be visiting you later after school. Lol. I'll bring some pudding!'

He said that from phone. I prohibited him to visit because I'm still not so sure about my condition. And he's a Beta, he might get affected or some.

My phone vibrates and I got a message.

'Yes, Teacher. I'm free now. And, are you really okay now?'

I have nothing to do today so I asked him if he's free now. It's been almost 2 weeks and we didn't have time to meet for our tutoring class.

I told him I'll be coming to their place. We have a lot of lessons to review.

I just put some plain clothes and leave my apartment.

Their place wasn't that far so I got here in no time.

I texted him that I'm already here.

"T-Teach!" He came immediately, but he was out of breath because of running. "Are you really okay now?"

I smiled. "Yes." I looked behind him. "Is your Mom here?"

"Uhm.. no. She already left." He replied, with a weak smile.

I nodded. It's not like it's unusual. "Okay, can I come in?"

He escorted me inside. His Mom's not here so we decided to do our business in their living room.

He placed the modules and some tests on the table. And I prepared my laptop.

"Mist, how's your condition? Are you fine now?" I asked while still waiting for my laptop to open. I'm referring to his heat cycle.

Mist nodded. "Yes, I'm perfectly fine now."

"I.. I'm sorry to ask this but, was that your first heat?"

He nodded, again. "Yes. That's why I was really nervous that time. I don't know what to do." He sighed.

Just as I thought.

Mist turned 18 just a month ago. Right age for an Omega and Alpha to start their cycles.

"I'll bring some snack." He then went to their kitchen.

We start to review their lessons. As expected, there's so much lessons to catch up.

I've been doing this job for a half year already. Mist's Mom was the one who came to me and asked me for a favor. She came to me knowing I am a Beta.

Mist is now only at his 10th Grade, even with his age. Before knowing that he's an Omega, he already has a weak body as a child. He always got bullied from schools, that's why he was having a hard time attending his class for years.

Even still now, he just attending his class seldomly.

It must be hard for him.

"Uhm..Teach?" He called me.

"Hmm?"

He didn't say anything for the meantime. He was hesitant to speak.

"Go on. Ask me anything." As long as I can answer it, then I'm good.

I can still remember some of my lessons from 10th Grade.

"Ha... Have you been... with an Alpha..? He's stuttering.

I blinked. "... Yes. I'd work with some Alphas before." I can still remember how reliable they were when it comes to work. "Why?"

He was just looking at me. The more I gaze at his eyes, the more I sees them sparkles. "I.. I.."

Why? Is he curious about them? "Are you curious on them? There's no much special on them if you ask me." I added when I remembered a certain Alpha I met.

"I.. I met this Alpha.. in school." He finally added something to say. "And he's a bully as well.."

What? Don't tell me he got bullied by an Alpha? "Did he do something to you? Did he hurt you? Does your Mom know?" Being bullied is a serious case. But being bullied by an Alpha is much worst.

"N-No.. he didn't do anything." He denied. "It's just that.. How should I say this.."

If not, then what's with that Alpha?

"There was.. a scent coming from him. It's my first time smelling something like that.."

I tried not to react with that. "Is it perhaps... A sweet scent."

He shook his head. "Rather than sweet, it was more.. uhm, like super manly smell. And so strong."

Manly scent. I was relieved. But, "Then, it might be just a perfume or something."

"..No. Not a perfume. Because I smelled it after he.." he paused and I saw his face blushed after. "A-Ahem.. But.. I just wanna say that.."

"My heat came.. after I smelled that scent."

After smelling that scent, huh.

A face of an unpleasant person pops in my head. He was smirking at me. I immediately erased my thoughts.

I sighed and told him some knowledge I knew about them. Like I said, Mist wasn't attending his class frequently, so he must surely knows nothing about those things.

Pheromones of Alphas and Omegas. Their heat and rut.

"S-So.. I'll be smelling a lot of scen- I mean, pheromones from now on..?" His face looks terrified.

"Well, probably."

A heavy sigh came out from his mouth. "I'm.. scared."

Well, I don't even want to experience that. Smelling a lot of different pheromones. "Just stay away from a harmful one, then you'll be good."

But to be honest, I am too, scared on what's happening to me right now. I can't even sit still until I get the result of the test.

He still looks depressed, but a faint smile was now on his face. "You really knows everything, Teach. I'm so thankful and blessed."

No. Even I still has a lot to learn, Mist.

"By the way, Teach's scent is kinda different today. What kind of perfume you used?" He suddenly asked.

Perfume? "I didn't use one."

His brows raised. "Really? But you smell kinda sweet today. Though it's not that strong."

I sniffed myself. I can't smell anything. "It must be you, or the smell of the living room."

We continue our lessons, until the Sun's can't be seen anymore.

"I'll be going now." I fixed my laptop and reminded him again. "Finish those test I gave and email me your answers, got it?"

Mist, on the other hand looks tired already. "Yes.."

Well, it can't be help. I gave her a bar of chocolate I brought. "Good work today."

"T-Teach.." He look so touched.

I bid a goodbye and told him to wait for his Mom. He suggested me to have a dinner with them but I refused. I really forgot about the time.

My phone was on a silent mode. When I opened it, I saw alot of messages from Riss.

'Hey! The classes ended so I'll be going to your apartment now!'

'I can't contact you? Were you home?'

'Vine! Where are you?! I'm here outside your place!'

'VINE. HELP.'

I got confused on his last text. But it got changed later on when I saw another text.

'Go home.'

It was from an unknown number.

"??" Does Riss have another number?

I just shrugged and went on my way to the apartment.
