AFTER SOME MINUTES, I'm already here at my apartment. I was puzzled when I saw the lights on inside.

Oh.

I went inside and a figure of a familiar person was here. Sitting on my sofa, with a weird face.

"What do you think you're doing." I broke the silence. The other person got shocked. I guess he was surprised.

What's wrong with this guy.

"V-Vine.." Riss still look terrified. Like he was seeing a ghost.

"What's the matter? You look funny." I put my bag on the table and stretches my arm. Sitting a whole day is surely tiring to do. "I was with my student. We catch up until their recent lesson."

"Oh.. r-really? He..he.."

I frowned. "What's wrong with you. Haven't you eaten yet? Let's buy something at the convenience store." Now that he's here, then we can eat dinner together.

"I..Haha. No, I'll be leaving.. now. Yes, now. I was..just waiting for you to be home.. safe and whole." He was smiling. But it's too obvious that it was forced.

My brow's raised. There's something up.

"Fine. Then get out of here. It's already dark outside." I don't want to ask him what's wrong. He will tell me if he can. He must have his reason. "Oh, but where's the pudding?"

"In your mini ref." He pointed where. He sighed and stood up after. "Then.. I'll be going now.."

I nodded. Again, if he doesn't want to tell me, it's fine.

"Oh.. uhm, Vine?" He spoke again.

Is he gonna tell me now? "Yeah?"

"...Nothing. I'm grateful that you're fine now. Don't stress yourself too much, 'kay?" He starts stroking his hair. "See you in school on Monday!" He added and left.

I sighed. There's definitely something going on.

I went to eat the pudding. I'm too tired to go outside so it must be enough for dinner.

Fortunately, there's 5 pieces of them. Was Riss planning on eating these with me? Such a waste then.

Oh, not totally. I can eat these all myself. It's my favorite anyway.

After finishing the puddings, I'm finally full. That's good.

I washed up after and went to my bed. I checked my phone and there's a new message from that unknown number again.

'Where did you go earlier?'

Isn't this Riss? I forgot to ask him earlier.

But it must be him. He's the only one I planned on meeting with at my apartment.

'Reply: I already told you earlier. I was tutoring my student.'

Did he forgot?

He replied asap. Huh?

'What are they? A man or a woman?'

What? Now that I think about it, I haven't mention to him what my student is like. But, do I really need to share it?

'Reply: A man. Stop asking for some stuff. Are you home already?'

A minute after he replied. 'At the bar on Sunday, will you still be there?'

I frowned. Is he planning on letting me rest until Sunday? I'm already fine now though.

'Reply: Yes. I can work even tomorrow.'

Another message.

'Another work, huh.'

Just as I thought.

I just ignore it and didn't reply back. I can work tomorrow well. I don't need to rest anymore.

I'm back in my usual self, and at the same time, my sleeping habit is back as well.

Another day came, and it's the time for me to work on pizza shop.

I already texted my boss that I can work for today. He refused at first because he knew about my fever, and wanted me to just rest as well for today. But I said that I'm totally fine now.

When I came to the shop, I was scolded by my boss. He said that I need to be careful and don't forget about my health as well.

"That's why I'm telling you to take it easy all the time. Don't always push yourself too much. And leave time for yourself as well. Having fun and rest is totally fine and a must." My boss shaking his head, like he was dismayed or some.

No, it's more likely that he was just worried.

"...Yes boss." I said.

"...Why am I scolding you for. You wouldn't even listen to an old man like me anyway." He sighed, heavily. "Fine. Don't do the deliveries today. You'll be at the counter, taking and giving orders. Understood?"

"...Yes boss."

I'm more comfortable doing deliveries, but today, it can't be helped.

I went to the locker room to change. There are people inside already when I enter.

"Oh Vine, are you fine now? We heard you caught a cold." I don't remember his name but it was a huge guy.

"I'm fine now." I replied and went to my locker.

"Hey, have you heard? The famous X Entertainment has a new debuted artist! And guess what the newest tea is?" The tall but thin guy spoke this time. I can't remember his name too.

"Hey Luk, you surely know a lot about showbiz. Do you think we can relate to that? We're busy doing our jobs. We don't have time watching news." This time it was the long haired guy who spoke. I don't know his name also.

But all I could say is that, all of us here are Beta.

"That's why I'mma share this tea with you guys. Geez~" he replied. "So the tea is, a famous director on that Entertainment and that newest artist caught making out inside the bar's restroom! Like damn! He totally came to a big fish at the very first! How bold." He added.

"Are you for real? Isn't that disgusting? Like, you would really do everything for fame, huh. Is he even willing to fuck an old man just for that?"

"Well, I heard the Director is a famous one. Rich, handsome, young and.. an Alpha! The bitch is lucky as fuck."

"Hey guys, the boss's calling us already."

After changing my clothes, I closed my locker's door. The two of them still in their own world, still talking about the guys on that Entertainment.

I left the locker room and just went to the counter. I still need to get used to it by later.
