I used to hear a simple song. That was until you came along, now in its place is something new, I hear it when I look at you

Third Person's Point of View"What did you say? Can you— can you repeat that?" Avery asked disbelief showing on her face.
Scarlett raised one of her eyebrows. "She's my girlfriend?" She answered, "Not that, the other one."
"She was just here like 30 minutes ago or so?" Aliana replied, confusion still evident on her face.
"Yes, that! She was just here, and you didn't bother to tell me?" Avery turned to her friend and pointed her fork at Aliana and jokingly accusing her.
"But you didn't tell me anything! You haven't mentioned anything about journalism either ." Aliana sighed with both of her hands up in the air.
"Right. I forgot about that," The girl made a peace sign with a hesitant smile on her face making the three women laugh at her silly antics.
"Seriously I should have dressed quickly maybe I can catch up with Ms. Villariel and ask some advice." Avery frustratedly runs her fingers through her hair.
Aliana looks at Scarlett who also at the same time looked at her, Aliana smiled and the woman returned with a smile of her own. Avery chatted with Scarlett and Lizzie while Aliana listens to the side answering whenever the three asked her or needed her input on whatever they were talking about.
The three women were already used to Aliana's quiet personality, not that they mind, they know that the tall woman likes a quiet environment and that's exactly the reason why the three of them keep their voices low while they speak. Aliana noticed the abnormality and raised her eyebrows— an amused smile gradually forming on her lips.
"All three of you are dorks!" Aliana started, "You realized that I don't care if you create a noise right? God! You made it seem like I hate noises!"
"Uhh, you do hate noises,"
"I do not!"
"Yes, you do!"
"I do not— you know what we're gonna finish this here 'cause I know I'm not gonna win," Aliana commented, earning a laugh from the three women in front of her.
Aliana rolled her eyes getting up to take her plate, to the sink. "Just talked without any reserve. Don't worry about me,"
"What about your neighbours then?" Scarlett asked frowning at Aliana.
Aliana looks at Scarlett and chuckled, "Do you even talk that loud? And that's never gonna happen the whole apartment is sound-proofed"
"Oh! that's why," Lizzie murmured absentmindedly. "What do you mean by "Oh! that's why" huh Lizzie?" Scarlett narrowed her eyes at the Scarlett Witch actress, interrogating her.
"I just noticed that I can't hear any noises outside, I just thought it's really quiet since this is also a high-end apartment complex." Lizzie rambled, her hands unconsciously doing the Scarlett Witch hand.
"That's right I can't hear any outside noises!" Scarlet commented as she attentively listened beaming as she notices it too. At the corner of her eyes, Aliana saw Lizzie breathing a sigh of relief, and a playful smirk formed on her lips. Lizzie saw her and she glared at Aliana making the latter's smirk grew even wider.
Lizzie frowned and asked, "But, how does that work? won't the apartment have to be renovated to put that sound-proofed thingy?" Scarlett and Avery also nodded curiously about how Aliana did it.
Aliana shrugged her shoulders and nonchalantly replied. "I own this building," The three women's eyes widened and their jaws slacked. "You own this building?" Avery clarified, Aliana nodded her head not bothering to look at the three.
