There were instances where it was best to shut up. SeongHwa knew that, had been in those instances more times than he could really count with his brother when the elder would get upset with him. In such instances, it was always better to remain quiet, and hope that they would cool off, and give it some time before trying to talk to them again. Perhaps a bit childish and cowardly but it was better than the alternative of getting punished for going against his brother said to do. It was something he would often roll his eyes towards. It was not as though his brother hit him, almost ever, that was a highly rare occurence, but he did get angry, and upset, and there was the fighting matches.

This...This was one of those instances where he should have shut up. The Captain was staring down at him now, his eyes dark and glittering, waiting for an answer whilst his neck was craned upwards at a, frankly incredibly uncomfortable angle. He couldn't do anything but stare up at the man with fear, his body was still weak and heavy. He could barely lift his own arms up, let alone hope to fight the Captain. He was surprised that he had found it in him to even rush forwards to grab the Captain's coat. It was partially the reason he had fallen backwards so easily and without much effort on the Captain's part. It was too late now, he had already opened his mouth and done something he should not have.

"Well? Princey why don't you tell me," the Captain hummed, ignoring the confused look at the nickname. "Why it is that you think YeoSang should be spared." Seonghwa just blinked up at the Captain, his body canvassed in slight tremors. He had no idea, and he had not a clue as to what he could even say to convince the Captain of that either, he just stared at the dark eyes and wicked smirk and he found himself utterly incapable of even coming up with a single sentence. It hurt him to say, but he did not really know Yeosang that well. The main reason that he had asked the Captain to stop was because he could not stand the thought of seeing the other whipped in front of him. What was he to say in regards to that? He already knew that it would not end well should he actually say that to the Captain. "Well? What is it hmm?"

"I...I do not know..." SeongHwa whispered. "I-It was just a mistake. A-A logical miscalculation. T-There was no way that he would have known my average diet anyways. I-It isn't his fault. Maybe he should not have questioned you, but it was a logical theory when not presented with the whole story." HongJoong stared at SeongHwa with a glinted curious look. SeongHwa could confidently say that he did not like that look...at all. It was rife with mischief, and he highly doubted that the type of mischief that this person was capable or willing to engage in was any sort of thing that he wanted to be a part of.

"You don't know, yet you still dared to intervene?" Seonghwa felt his body practically curl down into the bed as far as possible. He did not like that tone of voice that this person had. It scared him. It promised something...even worse to come, and SeongHwa was not sure that he wanted to know. "Tell me, do you know why you were brought on this ship?"

"No, Captain, I do not." Seonghwa whispered softly. "I just...assumed there was no reason for it, or I was mistaken for someone else."

"Certainly not!" HongJoong declared with a laugh and a sigh. He snapped the whip back, allowing SeongHwa's neck and jaw to relax slightly, though his body did not stop shaking, and his eyes continued to track HongJoong as best as he could. "Of course not, we are not that ignorant. After all, we would have never grabbed you had we not been sure you were our target." HongJoong stated with another laugh. "You don't know?" HongJoong questioned, letting his nails trail down the side of SeongHwa's face, ignoring the whimper that elicited from him.

"I-I am afraid I do not, Captain," Seonghwa admitted, his voice barely audible.

"Well," HongJoong said, his lips curling into a smirk. "Shall I tell him, YeoSang?" The Captain cut a look back towards the still kneeling crew mate. Yeosang just grit his teeth and remained neutral.

"If...That is what Captain wishes." Hongjoong sighed.

"I see," He stated softly, one of his nails cutting a small nick in Seonghwa's cheek, leading the other to whine softly, but too scared and weak to really move too much. He continued to stare up at HongJoong with eyes that simply blinked away his tears as best as they were able. He could barely even inhale air, it seemed to be quite limited at the moment due to his fear. "Well, my dear, we captured you because, whether you know it or not, and I would wager that you don't, you are of noble blood." SeongHwa stared at the captain with blank eyes, before coughing out a laugh.

"What?" He scoffed. "C-Captain, no disrespect meant, but...I think...you may have perhaps...gotten ill informed." He shook his head. "I am no noble."

"Yes, you are." HongJoong argued. "Why else would the King, nigh on his deathbed, suddenly call for you. You, who, until now, had next to no contact with anyone, barring some overbearing so-called brother that refused to let you go anywhere, talk to anyone, and yet still for whatever reason ensured you were well spoken, well read, and intelligent." SeongHwa shook his head.

"No, you must have mixed something up, there is no way."

"Do you not match the attributes which I described? Is your relationship with this brother of yours not exactly as I laid out. Now, you say he had you on a strict diet. What sort of strict diet? A diet that only you were on, I assume." SeongHwa felt his tears begin to flood over his eyes as HongJoong began to lay it out further. "You, love, are of noble blood. You are also going to be quite...useful...to us." SeongHwa grit his teeth, not understanding what this person was playing around for.

"You...You can quite the cruel jokes, Captain, just because you have me held hostage here doesn't mean anything. For one, I don't know why it was the King wished to speak to me, but as far as anyone knows, he is not on his deathbed, and for two, why should I believe you?" HongJoong took a step back, a bit surprised by the vehement glare in the young one. "You captured me from King's guardsmen, which means you could have easily been watching me for months before you took me. I would not be so surprised if you did not. While I may not know what it is the King wishes from me, and whilst I may not understand why it is that you have me here, that does not mean I am of noble blood. You should have care not to let your thoughts run away with you, Captain." SeongHwa hissed. Yeosang was staring at the two with wide eyes and unable to really say anything as HongJoong just stared, before bursting out into laughter.

"Oh, Princey, I think you are going to be quite the joy to have around." The Captain continues to laugh before turning to YeoSang. "You are lucky he has managed to make me amused. I will let your insolence off, this once. Get him better. That's an order."
