There's a silence
that falls like winter.
A fog
and I can't get warm.
Snow keeps falling
all around me.
I'm blanketed by this storm
And no one sees
how far away I truly am...
and I feel unreachable
Through the mist,
beyond the sleet
it may be sunny
but I can't see
Inside my mind fortress
I sit alone -
Gravity so strong an emotion
it's become a force...
thickening my atmosphere.
Reaching out
in search of warmth,
I try to pull this cloud around me...
I try to feel a connection to something
...my hand grasps at empty air.
I just want to feel connected
And no one sees
how far away I truly am...
and I feel unreachable.
