Maddy's P.O.V
Urgh, it's too early to be awake!
I know it's an important day and all, but seriously I'm too drained to get out of bed.
My aunt has woken me up at stupid o'clock to take me shopping for a DRESS a friggin DRESS!
Why a dress, I do not know, but she says I have to look and I quote "Lady Like" because apparently wearing converse, shorts and a top is not classed as being a lady.
She also wanted to make me wear wedge heels, but I flat out refused. Especially as I will be on grass, so I have gotten out of that one and can wear flats or sandals which I can deal with.
I'm currently stuffing my face in a very un-lady like manner while waiting for my aunt to finish getting ready.
Who knew she could take this long.
"Come along then, we haven't got time to be dordling around. We have so much to do! Get your dress, get your hair sorted, I mean look at the state of it. Then we need to get you waxed and get your make-up done. OH THIS IS SO EXCITING, ISN'T IT? Our first girly day!"
By the end of that she was jumping around like a hyper 5 year old screeching so loud I thought my ear drums were about to burst.
We got to the shopping centre/mall a little while later and I couldn't believe how packed it was.
My aunt literally dragged me into nearly every shop we passed.
If she liked something for me, she would buy it, even if I didn't like it.
We finished shopping at around half 11, so we headed towards the salon.
I honestly don't understand why I needed my hair doing. It was perfectly fine.
I hardly ever wore it down, but like I said, I still don't see why I need it done.
I sat in the seat and I didn't even get a chance to speak before my aunt jumped in and started babbling about what she thought would look better on me.
I was about to object so I could have my say but the hairdresser started washing it and chatting away.
About an hour and a half later my hair was done, but apparently I wasn't aloud to look at it until I had been waxed and my make up was done.
Another hour later and I was finally allowed to see what I looked like.
Let me tell you something, I honestly didn't think I could of looked any more like a women.
My hair was curled to perfection and put in a messy upstyle where I had bits falling down, but it all looked as if it was placed there, I also have a flower type head band on.
My make-up looked flawless. It was completely natural, but yet wasn't.
My eye lashes looked sooooo long, my eyebrows where perfectly shaped, my cheek bones were out lined and my lips were a bright red.
