Vana has never felt as if she belonged in this world; as if humankind would almost break apart at every mere inconvenience that she sufficed.
Nor did she feel normal enough in her home to feel as if she deserved to live, especially when her parents went missing and never returned; a traumatic experience that caused her x-gene to awaken, and to be sent to live with her cousins in Braddock Manor.
Almost a decade later and she has proved herself worthy to be a well-known stage performer and nighttime occultist, fighting the horrors of the mystic. That is until one of her commissions brings back her long gone past, and a specific someone to tag along.

A U T H O R S N O T E
Vana is fancasted as Zatanna (a magician from DC Comics), who was my original inspiration for this story and character. Her abilities will be similar to that of Zatanna's, but not exactly the same.
I'm so excited to write this after rewatching all of the fox universe and seeing deadpool and wolverine, reliving my wolverine crush haha
This story will take place in the Marvel Comics universe, NOT the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Characters already in the MCU will be played by their current actor/actress, however characters who have not got a designated actor playing them, it is up to readers as to how they look.
All characters (besides Vana Vaughn who is my own) are owned by Marvel Comics. Plotline is my own and so is the book cover.
