🦋Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.🦋

You rushed down the stairwell as quickly as your rib would let you, in search of the two missing gentlemen. One foot after the other as you carefully padded against the dark cold tile bricks that swirled their way down to the basement of the temple.

Walking through the cold hall, you held your arms around your body, to keep yourself warm as breathed lightly through your chapped lips. On instinct, you licked your lips and looked around for them.

The search didn't take long when you heard the sound of something colliding against someone's flesh with a muffled scream and groan following after. You flinched and winced at the sound, stopping in your tracks and looking ahead of you.

There.

'They're in there,' you thought as you slowly made your way to the room.

You couldn't believe it, the boy who is known to be a kind and gentle soul has turned into someone who is now aggressive and destructive. He has done a one-eighty entirely and you weren't sure to make of it. Ray, his best friend, was also shaken about the change of behavior from his childhood friend, but never less, he understood why. And he's not in the right place to tell the white-haired male how to react nor how to cope with the pent-up anger that is fueled by his flesh and bones.

They were always known as opposites entirely. Ray, a boy who is known as laid back yet always barked at the smaller individuals who didn't follow up on his expectations. He was labeled as the one with the temper, he never was aggressive but he was known as the disgruntled one. On the other hand, Norman was always willing to help others and reassure them, to nurture them. He's seen as the caring and soft-hearted older brother who everyone was fond of.

Much like Yin and Yang.

The two were inseparable. Opposites, yet attached to each other's hips. Wherever you'd see one, the other was somewhere nearby.

But ever since he left the farm. Ever since that day, there's no telling what he has been put through to make him change from who he was to who he is now.

"Norman... why?"

You couldn't help it but the two simple words slipped past your lips as you stared at the back of the male's head with shock and curiosity.

Maybe it was a mistake to go after him, to search around the large temple and find him closed off in a torturous room such as this one. Maybe this is your punishment for being the inquiring cat who couldn't help but keep her business restrained.

Ray looked in between the both of you and locked down at his hands that were held in his lap, closing his eyes together and sighing quietly to himself. He knew that this was the time to take his leave. He was brought into a situation that he wanted no part of, but here he was. Maybe it is a wise decision if he leaves now before shit hits the fan, and he wouldn't be able to protect himself from the massive impact that'll potentially come with it.
