The duo, Ciel and Sebastian, had snuck out at night, dressed in "disguises" to blend into crowds. Unknown to them, (Y/n) had followed them in her hero costume. Thanks to her pitch-black wear, she can easily hide in dark places, hence why they haven't spotted her yet. Why is she following them? Well simple really.

She calls bullshit on their so-called "it's just our Quirk" nonsense and "I was born with it" lie. She's not stupid, she knew they were lying to her the moment she demanded to know Sebastian's deal. No one, literally no one, is able to keep her still with just their bare hands. Unless they're All Might when he wasn't a weak skeleton man, but that's a given.

They avoided it by asking about her abilities, which she told them, thinking they'd know about it. How naive of her, they didn't even know what a Quirk was. Until she explained it to them they didn't use that excuse for their own abilities, which was a terrible option. "Oh, yes, you have Quirks" end of the conversation, what do they take her for? She's not Deku.

So, fed up with the lies, she decided that she'd follow them out to their mission. Let's just say, she instantly regretted it, as the saying goes, curiosity kills the cat. She watched in the shadows as Grell, a seemingly innocent butler, had turned sinister and changed their hair color to red. Maybe this is karma for attacking head-on, like she normally does, toward one random villain.

"Let me introduce myself, the Bennett butler Grell Sutcliff. What do you say? Let's get along" Grell reintroduced themselves as they sent Sebastian a flying kiss. "Ah~! It's so nice to talk to you in my true form, I'll admit, I was a bit surprised when I first met you. I never seen a demon playing a butler" Grell said honestly.

(Y/n)'s eyes widen in realization, now putting the pieces together, she doesn't want to believe it. But, Sebastian is living proof that demons are real. "I can say the same about you, I never thought I'd find one of your kind playing a butler either," Sebastian said, now captivating (Y/n)'s interest. She just had to know more about what they were talking about, she should've left sooner.

"You're supposed to be an intermediary, between man and God, a Grim Reaper. Why would a divine being, like you, pretend to be a servant?" Sebastian asked almost mockingly. "Why indeed, for now, let's say it was out of love for a certain woman," Grell said ominously. With that, (Y/n) decided that she should probably leave, right now, before shit goes down.

Yet, her clumsy foot had to run into an unsuspecting cat, who hissed loudly at her. "Damn cat" (Y/n) growled lowly, ready to blow the cat into chunks. "(Y/n), what are you doing here?" Sebastian called from his spot, which caused her to let out a curse. With that, she stepped into the light, staying far away from them as possible.

"Oh~! I remember you~! You're such a cutie!" Grell fangirled wanting to so badly hug the female. "Eh? What are you even talking about?" (Y/n) grumbled with a raised eyebrow. "I'll assume you heard everything, we'll talk later, Ciel, your orders?" Sebastian asked, glancing down at Ciel.

"Let her be, for now, she can be useful, now tell me, is your partner going to come out of hiding?" Ciel asked while removing Sebastian's hand from his face. With the sound of clicking heels, Madam Red made her way into the light, not looking guilty of her crimes. "Well, I hadn't counted on this, I didn't think anyone would be able to tell who Grell truly is," Madam Red said with a small chuckle.

"You damn cow! You've been behind these murders this whole time?!" (Y/n) yelled out in anger, her hero instincts kicking into gear. "Of course, she was naturally on the suspect list from the very beginning, but all of her alibis seemed flawless" Ciel informed calmly. "You knew this whole time?!" (Y/n) exclaimed, a few crackles of sparks flying from her hands, ready to explode something.

"Of course, after checking the suspect list, I narrowed it down to her. None of the humans could've been on the suspect list, not responsible for all of the murders. But, if one of them had an inhuman accomplice, that would change the game completely. It had to be someone who could enter and leave a room without being noticed. Someone who could travel from the Viscount's home to the East End instantaneously" Ciel explained, earning a deadpanned expression from (Y/n).
