Chapter 6

Another body, right before (Y/n)'s eyes, laying against the ring that Ciel and the servants are trapped in. People circled around it, chanting some nonsense she didn't care to listen to. The only fortunate part is that she didn't witness him die right in front of her eyes, but it was still a gruesome sight to behold. When Sebastian lifted up the missing appendage, that was when (Y/n) decided to head back to the mansion.

"Fuck that, I don't need to deal with this shit" (Y/n) muttered, too tired to care, and rather not do this in the rain. That was when Angela decided to faint right in front of her, purposely falling into her chest. On instinct, (Y/n) had caught her with a perplexed look, debating on dropping her or carrying her back to the mansion.

"Here, let me take her," Finny said worriedly, only to harshly rip Angela away from her. She did not miss the glare he sent toward the unconscious female. Nor did she miss the smirk that curled up Angela's mouth, most definitely not unconscious. She narrowed her eyes at the two but decided to not voice out her worries as she wordlessly marched back to the mansion. She was glad she did as she felt multiple eyes follow her retreating form.

Once inside, she was allowed to close herself off in her room, thankful that no one followed her. Despite this, she checked every nook and cranny, in case the butler is sneaking somewhere. Once satisfied, the sat on her bed with a contemplating look, debating the new information internally. Unlike Deku, she doesn't write everything down or mumble her thoughts like an idiot.

'I don't know these people... Yet, I feel like they aren't supposed to act like that. First, it was that butler' (Y/n) shivered at her thought process, remembering a few strange incidences with him. 'Then those servants... Then this maid' (Y/n) listed, but mostly worried about Finny and Angela, as they seem the most strange.

She then buried her face into her hands, letting out a soft groan of frustration. 'When can I go home...? Is home even home anymore...?' (Y/n) thought while letting out a depressed sigh. Recently, she started noticing a pattern that she can't get out of, as most people she meets tend to end up giving her gut feelings. Her gut is never wrong and she plans to stick to it, doesn't mean she won't go down without a fight.

Sadly, during the night, while she was asleep, a certain butler paid a visit to her room. He loomed over her with a predatory look, almost like he'd devour her soul in seconds. Yet, when he reached his hand out to her, he gently pets her fluffy hair with his bare hand, his smile turning into one of bliss.

"WAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" Finny cried out loudly, interrupting Sebastian's peace, and almost stirring (Y/n) awake. He knew Finny was watching them, but he didn't anticipate the human to run off so loudly. With a disappointed sigh, Sebastian left to his own devices, leaving (Y/n) alone... For now.

"Good morning (Y/n)" Bard greeted as he entered the dining room. "Eat" (Y/n) replied as she aggressively placed bowls down for the servants, having gotten up early to make the dish. "Oh! Thank you!" Mey-rin said gratefully, as she immediately started devouring her dinner. "Woah! Not so aggressive, you'll spill it everywhere" Bard scolded while trying to keep the contents in his bowl before eating his meal.

"Thanks... But I'm not hungry..." Finny groaned out, looking completely out of it. Before (Y/n) could yell at the male, he was gracefully saved by Angela. "Ah, good morning, oh, (Y/n), you didn't have to make breakfast," Angela said as she walked in with some tea. "Shut up and eat your portion" (Y/n) said a bit harshly as she traded trays with her.

(Y/n) now held onto the tea set while Angela held onto a bowl of food. (Y/n) then placed the tea cups, individually, in front of every person sitting at the table. Somehow, she was more gentle, knowing it can easily spill or break, but scowled while doing so. "Angela, are you sure you should be out of bed?" Bard asked worriedly, while Angela sat down to eat her portion.
