One gasped when the Russians threw her into a room similar to the one she was just in. She quickly stood up and turned around, her back to the wall.

"What do you want with me?" She asked.

"What we paid for," the head guy said in his thick Russian accent.

"What you. . ." Her breath got caught in her throat when I realized what he meant. "You're who Brenner sold me to before he died."

"Nice to officially meet you, Experiment 001."

He took a step toward One and she instinctively took a step back. She gasped when he grabbed her hand, dragging his fingers along the creases in her palm. She held her breath as he brought her hand up to his mouth. One had to force herself not to cringe when he kissed her knuckles.

"Let's get to work," he said, his voice low. "Show me what you can do."

"No," One said, standing up straighter.

"Excuse me?"

"Not until you let him go."

"Oh," he chuckled. "That little sailor down the hall? You want us to release him. That's sweet."

He sent her a smile that instantly turned into a smirk. Before she could do anything, he quickly brought his hand up, slapping her. She fell to the ground but refused to cry out in pain. She looked up at him and glared.

He made a show of fixing his rings and his sleeve. Without breaking eye contact, One stood up. He took another slow step toward her making One's back hit the wall when she took a step back.

"Or I could bring him in here and play Russian Roulette with him and my trusty revolver until you do as I say," he threatened.

One's anger built inside her as she took a step toward him for a change. "If you touch him," she said, dropping her voice, "I will burn this place to the ground with everyone in it."

The general smiled as he let out a small chuckle. One heard someone cock their gun. She instantly raised her hand, the gun flying to her. She used her abilities to hover the gun and turn it toward its previous owner. One didn't have to look at the guy as she made the gun go off.

"Perfect," the general chuckled. "That's exactly what I wanted."

It's only been an hour and the Russians have run One through at least ten experiments. They tested her abilities, pushing her rougher and further than Brenner and his lab rats ever did.

They started off easy but got harder with each test. At first, they had her put thoughts into one of the guard's heads. This one, she didn't mind doing.

"What do you want me to tell him?" One asked as she stood in front of her test subject.

"Anything you'd like," the general laughed.

One reached forward and gently touched his forehead. The guard's eyes fluttered closed.

One used her powers to drag a chair over and push his body into it. Purple energy waves started to flow out of her hands as she stood behind him. She placed her hands on either side of the guard's head.

She closed her eyes as she guided the energy into his brain. Usually, she whispers what she wants the man to do, but this time, she kept that surprise to herself.

She took a step back, her hands dropping to her side. The Russians looked between her and their comrade.

"Well?" The general asked. "What now?"

"Now," One sighed. "I wake him up."

One reached up and touched the back of his head. The place she touched was exactly in line with where she touched the front of his head. She took a step back as he started to wake up.

Everyone held their breaths as the guard stood up. He reached for his gun, quickly turned, and killed the other guard responsible for hurting Steve.

The other guards in the room roughly grabbed him. General smirked as he stopped them. He turned toward One with a smirk.

"Did you tell him to do that?" He asked sounding a little too pleased.  One nodded.

"Perfect!" The general laughed. "Let's see what else you can do."

She could barely breathe as she used to abilities to stop a bomb the Russians had set off. She closed her eyes, an image of Steve tied to a chair helped her gather what little strength she had left.

The Russians started applauding as she successfully forced the explosion back into the bomb and shut it off. She collapsed, exhaustion overwhelming her. She had tears streaming down her face as her whole body shook.

"Please," she whispered. "Please stop. I can't. . . I can't do this anymore."

"We're not done, маленькое оружие." (Little weapon)

One gasped when a guard roughly grabbed her, forcing her to her feet. She couldn't help the whimper that came out as they dragged her to the medical table. She was too weak to fight back as they strapped her down. One of the guards grabbed a needle from the table. He handed it to the general.

"Please," One whispered. "Don't. . ."

"Relax, дорогая (dearie)," he smirked. "We're just going to ask you some questions."

She gasped in pain when the general stuck the needle into her neck, pushing the fluid into her body.

"Questions you'll be forced to answer."

The Russians asked her every question. They asked about the lab, about who she was before, and who Brenner created her to be. They even asked her about the people she was spending her time with now. As much as she resisted, she couldn't stop herself from telling them everything.

She told them about Eleven. She told them about the other kids at the lab. She told them about Hawkins and Steve and the others. As soon as she told them about her friends in Hawkins, she begged them not to hurt them.

They eventually had to stop asking her questions because the more of the truth serum they gave her, the more her words slurred. Until she eventually passed out. She woke up to a blinding pain in her side. She tried to fight, to get away, but she couldn't move. She looked down and saw them drilling into her leg.

"What are you. . ." She cut herself off as another scream ripped through her throat.

One's scream echoed down the hallway and drifted towards the room they were keeping Steve in. He could hear the pain in her voice. He looked up at the guard, his anger boiling when he saw the guy smirking.

"Where is she?!"
