Steve pulled up and parked in his usual spot. He got out and sat on the hood while waiting for the kids to get out of school. He looked over when a car pulled up. He knew he shouldn't stare, but he couldn't help it. The car that pulled up next to Steve was one he could only describe as his dream car. Plus, the girl who got out was hot.

He instantly scowled when he saw that Tommy had noticed the girl too. Tommy ran his fingers through his hair as he hyped himself up to talk to the girl. She looked to be about Steve and Tommy's age, but she wasn't dressed like a girl their age.

The stranger was wearing a blouse tucked into a black pencil skirt. She had perfect balance in high heels that made Steve's feet hurt just looking at them.

He was about to look away but noticed Tommy finally have enough courage. Steve rolled his eyes when he watched Tommy walk over to the girl. He couldn't help but listen in on their conversation.

"Hey," Tommy said.

"Hi," the girl sighed, not looking at him.

"I'm Tommy."

"Really?" She laughed. "That's a little boy's name."

"No it's not," he said, losing his 'cool guy' voice.

"Yeah, it is."

The girl laughed as she crossed her arms over her chest and leaned against her car. Tommy opened and closed his mouth, struggling to think of something smooth to say.

"Well," he stuttered. "Anyway, you're new to town and I thought that you might want someone to show you around."

"It's a small town," the girl shrugged. "I'm sure I can find my way around. Plus, I'm not staying that long."

"Oh," he fake-pouted. "That's too bad because I'd really like to show you around and where all the fun happens."

The girl slowly turned towards Tommy with an unamused look on her face. She took a deep breath before smiling at him.

"Walk away."

Steve held in a laugh as Tommy embarrassingly walked away. He turned around when the bell rang. He briefly forgot about the mysterious stranger as the kids started filing out of the school. He opened his mouth to call out to Dustin but the stranger said something random.

"Rain it in, little bug."

"No way!"

Steve looked over to see Eleven running out of the school. She ran down the stairs and didn't look both ways before she crossed the street. Steve couldn't help but smile as Eleven jumped into the stranger's arms.

"What are you doing here?" Eleven asked the stranger.

"I came to see you."

"But I thought you were. . ."

"What?" The stranger teased. "You really think I wouldn't come visit my favorite little bug?"

Eleven smiled before she hugged the girl she hasn't seen since she was younger.

"I've missed you," El whispered as she tightened her arms around her.

"I've missed you too, little bug."

The kids smiled as they watched the exchange. The stranger looked over at El's friends and smiled.

"I have an idea," she said, pulling out of their hug. "Why don't we go get something to eat?"

"There's this amazing burger place not far from here!" Dustin laughed.

"Let's go there then," she smiled.
