JUST LIKE THAT

CHAPTER 2 - THE DATE

We got out of the car and entered his house. Is this the date? Oh my God! He blindfolded me and directed me to God knows where.

" Are you ready? Okay.. in 1,..2..and 3!"
He removed the blindfold and it was just his normal room. No cap,I thought maybe he had decorated his room or something. I even thought maybe we was gonna eat but in a fancy setting.

"I wore makeup for this??" I asked ,turning to face him.
" Well, yeah."
" I don't get it. Is this the date you made my dad convince me for?"
" Yeah. A full day with me. We could eat all the snacks we want,drink,watch movies,karaoke, anything you want."
" Wait.. so you're not even sure of what we gonna do? It's not planned?" I asked,picking a pillow from his bed and moving slowly towards him.
" Uhh...I don't know..I.. I wanted you to chip in your ideas too."
" Really? Okay, let's start with this!"
I started hitting him with the pillow and before we realized, it became as pillow fight. I miss this.

We sighed a relief sigh after forfeiting and threw ourselves to the bed.
" I miss this." Ty stated.
"Me too"
" Drinks?"
" Hell yeah. Coke with a lot of ice. And add popcorn, let's watch a movie. "
" Right on it,ma'am."
He left for the kitchen and came back in less than 5 minutes with our food. He added some snacks too. Perfect!

We watched two movies and it became boring so I slept on the third. Ty woke me up in a start.
" What the hell man?!"
" Sorry. We gotta go. We will be late."
" For what?"
" The actual surprise. Get ready,I'll wait for you downstairs. "

Actual surprise? One thing I know is that Ty is good at surprises...good or bad.hehe.
I wore my shoes,reapplied small makeup, picked my bag and left. He started the car immediately I sat.

He played songs and we sang along throughout the journey. I got a bit tired so I slept again. It seemed it was a long journey cause I've slept for quite a while and Ty hasn't tapped me yet. Well, the anticipated tap came through.

" Heyyy. We are here." He said,smiling.
I rubbed my eyes and sat well in the seat.
" Where are we?"
" Come out of the car and see for yourself. "
He got out and I followed him after I made sure I was still looking hot.
I looked around my surroundings and the place looked familiar. Not that I've been here before cause I would have remembered vividly. It looked like...ARTWOOD! Was it? I looked around again and I actually saw a billboard proving it. God,I'm gonna cry!

" How... how did you get us here. Why?"
" I bought the tickets. Duh. Why? Cause I love you and this is my appreciation for being there for me always."
" Oh my God! Tyrice! How? Its very hard to get tickets but you still got em for me!Thank you."
I moved close to him and hugged him very tight.

"You are most welcome. Now can we go? No wasting time. "
"Hell yeah! Let's go!"
He placed my hand in his and we run to the gate.

We had done a lot of activities. We went for the exhibit; bought a few art pieces.Ty also won this basketball game and won me a stuffed dog. I had to go back out and place them in the car. Ty and I competed in this karaoke thingy and we lost. Not that we can't sing, it's just that our competitors were... a lot. One bad thing that happened was that I lost my phone and I couldn't remember where I left it. Our last place to go was the live band and according to Ty there was a surprise there too for me.
He had to go pee so I waited for him so we go inside together.  Someone tapped me and I turned to see- Oh my God! Am I seeing right? My mouth was literally opened the whole time. It was Kirk Logan Hendrickson!
