"How the hell did I miss that?!" Anya was howling.

"Look, it's likely that this is a coincidence." Freya was simply trying to be the voice of reason and calm the screaming Anya, but failed miserably.

"Is it though? Think about it Frey! We already know that Lucy was the one who caused Mia's accident on set, and now a fucking allegedly ex-boyfriend comes around and tells us how much she deserves to be punished!" Anya was putting the puzzle pieces together piece by piece.

"Yeah, but-"

Anya cut Freya off "besides, do you remember how strange she had been acting the past days? What if she was aware about something? What happened at the coffee shop that day? Why in the world did she have a panic attack in the evening in that bathroom?"

"Wait a minute, when did all of this happen?" Henry's mother exclaimed, clearly concerned.

"It was only a couple of weeks ago." Freya responded almost silently, as if she was taking in all of the information that Anya had just shared with them.

"Do you happen to have the keys to their place?" Anya focused her attention on Marianne.

"Yeah, but why?" While taking the keys out of her pocket and handing them to the raven hair, Marianne replied.

As she walked out of the hospital, Anya hastily grabbed her keys and exclaimed, "gotta figure out what the fuck happened!"

Following her was out of the question after seeing what happened when I attempted to follow Henry. Everything Anya said, on the other hand, made sense. It's a good thing I tossed away all of the letters since I can't take the chance of them getting hurt. After all, if Lucy is capable of doing that to me, I hate to think what she is capable of doing to others. I have an excessive amount of love and care for them.

"Does Henry have any idea about this?" Maria began pacing back and forth in the middle of the room.

"He is totally unaware that Lucy was the cause of the accident. And I'm not sure if he realised there was a problem until it was too late.

Because if Mia hadn't been a photographer, she should've pursued a career in acting instead of ." Freya was sitting with her head resting on her palms, overwhelmed by the amount of information she had to process.

"Why wouldn't she say it to Henry?" Marianne was still confused about what was going on.

Freya responded, a sigh of despair in her voice. "I think she was just trying to protect him from Lucy, because Lucy had previously told him that she would go to the paparazzi and falsely accuse him of things," she continued.

"What the hell is going on?!" Marianne cried out in frustration, and Colin, who was out getting coffee, heard her and ran over to comfort her right away.

I was taken aback because it was the first time I'd ever heard Marianne scream and cuss, so I was startled.

"What exactly happened, love? Where is Henry?" Colin was holding Marianne and gently stroking her hair, as if he were trying to make her feel better.

"The police have taken Henry to the station because they believe he is responsible for what happened to Mia, and now it appears like Lucy is blackmailing both Henry and Mia in some way." Marianne's voice carried far and wide through the hospital, despite her little stature.

"Wait, what?! What the hell's going on?! " Colin was starting to look as baffled as the rest of them.

"That's exactly what we're looking to understand." Mariane exhaled a long, contented sigh. "What was Henry thinking when he didn't mention anything about Lucy to the police? I don't get it."

"Well, that makes two of us." Freya chimed in.

Marianne then switched her focus back to her husband, who was sitting next to her. "Colin, could you please ask for a blanket? After all of this, I really need to get some sleep."

Fortunately, Freya did not give Colin the opportunity to respond, "It's fine, you can go home; I'll stay here."

"Are you sure, sweetheart?" Marianne asked, breaking into a faint smile.

Freya just returned a simple nod. "All right, but promise me that you'll call me if anything happens; whatever happens, just call me; I'll have my phone with me at all times." Her maternal instincts were on display.

"I will, now go and rest". As Freya encouraged the woman to leave, she gently caressed the woman's arms.

Freya waited until they were out of sight before attempting to make herself comfortable in one of the seats and drift off to sleep.

Because practically everyone had left, I figured it would be a good idea to check in on myself to see how I was doing. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to get myself out of this funk and take care of this problem. That's what I've always done, clean up after everyone's messes, and now I'm somehow involved, which I hate.

I returned to the ICU and followed Henry's path to my room . I'm in terrible shape, but that isn't important right now. I had to get out of there.

I always talk to myself, but talking to myself while watching myself is a strange experience that is more odd than it seems.

Okay let's do this

"Please note that there are individuals who care about you, and you must wake up to reality. They're trying to help, but they don't know what's going on; you can't let them find out because you don't want to put them in danger. Wake up, Mia, for the love of fuck! Henry is at the police station because of you, and he was injured as a result of your actions! We both know that's not what you want! You have to get him out of there as soon as possible! WAKE THE FUCK UP!"

And then everything went dark all of a sudden.

*hey everyone, thank you so much for bearing with me, life has been a bitch. As I was writing this chapter I was thinking if you would be interested to see other povs as well. As we know Henry is at the police station and Anya is going to their place, would you like to see what's happening or would you like me to stick to Mia's pov?
