Omegaverse is a world where aside from gender, there is another characteristics assigned at birth. These are Alpha, Beta and Omega classes.
Alphas: Strong, intelligent, have sharp incisors, usually the elite of the world. Treated well, admired. Sensitive to Omegas heat. Can mark anyone by biting the nape of an Omega or Betas neck, where the "love" gland is. Can bite an alpha but it doesn't tie them for life like an Omega.
Betas: Your average human. Pretty basic, normal characteristics. Doesn't get affected by heat. Can be marked but can break the mark if needed.
Omega: Very beautiful/handsome dainty beings. Usually not very muscular but beautiful. Usually looked down upon as they become impulsive and promiscuous during their heat.
-They have periods of "heat" or fertile windows where they can get pregnant, (even the men). They can take suppressants to lower how much they feel their heat and suppress their pheromones to detract Alphas around them. Once a suppressant is taken before or right after intercourse, pregnancy cannot occur for a week.
-Omegas can be marked or bit by Alphas. Once marked, the Omega can no longer be tied to another Alpha, even if the mark is removed. They simply just cannot be tied to anyone again if bitten once. Some choose to remove their glands, because if bitten and left by the Alpha that bit them, they can no longer feel love or as much pleasure during sex. Being marked is huge for Omegas but can be devastating if done in a malicious way.
Fated Pair: A fated pair is a strong connection felt by two that no matter if either are marked, or have marked someone, they feel an impossible-to-be-broken connection. They may not even like each other but the connection is final. It is very rare and hardly happens. It can happen between any class, any gender.
