"Meredith you can't be in here." Amelia said while taking her gloves off.
"Wait. Where's Andrew?"
"Oh I finished on him about half hour ago ,he's completely fine don't worry."
Meredith felt relief in her stomach knowing that he was okay "thank you so much Amelia." seconds after she ran to Andrews room to see how he was.
"Omg Andrew your okay !" Meredith ran to his side and kissed him softly but passionately.
"I heard them call time of death in the or you were in ,well I thought you were in."
"I'm not leaving that easily babe "Meredith chuckled .
"By the way ..umm..the whole hospital knows about us and the baby." She said while taking his hand in hers.
"well the news was bound to come out at some point "he puts his hand on her little bump and she puts hers over his.
"When can you get discharged?"
"Bailey said she's gonna keep me in a few days to keep an eye on me"
"well I'll be in here everyday to visit and so will Brooke."
"I love you so much mer"
"I love you so much to."
"When I get out of here please wear that dress more often "Andrew smirks at her .
"Nah I'll just stick with my hoodies" she laughs.
"your a tease " "that's me " they both laugh .
After a long talk with Andrew ,Meredith went to go get Brooke to tell her what happened.
"Hey sweetie did you have fun?."
"Yeah! I love Arizona ,she gave me ice cream !"
"Well I'm glad you had fun ,do you wanna go see dada?"
"YEAH"
On there way back they bumped into jo.
"Hey dr grey, hello cutie." Jo knelt down in-front of Brooke.
"Mommy who is she?" She hid behind Meredith's leg.
"This is dr jo Wilson, she's nice don't worry."
Brooke smiled and jumped in her arms to hug her.
"Hi! I'm Brooke deluca!"
"It's very nice to meet you Brooke, I have a daughter who's the same age as you, if you ask your mommy nicely you could have a play date?" Brooke jumped up and down then looked at Meredith.
"Pweese Mommy!" Brooke was giving her puppy eyes.
"Of course you can sweetie."
"YAYYYY!" Brooke hugged her mothers leg then hugged jo.
When they finally got to Andrew's room he was eating jelly.
"Gimmie.. Pweese." She gave Andrew puppy eyes.
"What if I want it."
"But I said pweese." Brooke jumped on the hospital bed and just sat there.
"Okay fine." Andrew gave her the pot of jelly and she started eating it.
Meredith sat down next to Andrew on the bed and rested her head on his shoulder.
"Sleepy?"
"A little bit." Meredith snuggled more into him and slowly closed her eyes.
After a long night talking Meredith decided to take Brooke home as she was dozing off.
"I'll be back tomorrow morning babe."
"Drive save love "
Meredith carefully picked Brooke up and carried her to the car and put her in the car seat.
When they arrived home she was fast asleep and Meredith tucked her into bed .
Shortly after Meredith got into some comfy clothes and got into her side of the bed ,she started talking to the baby.
" Hey little one ,can't wait to meet you ,I really hope you fight to meet us ,knowing my luck you'll choke on your cord and die , but we all love you ,little Kelsey or Tommy." Meredith laughs to herself .
6 days later
Andrew got discharged 4 days ago and Meredith has been spending everyday with him.
"Mer can we talk ?" Andrew sat down next to her on the couch.
"Sure what's up "
"So when the baby arrives what last name are we going to give them ?"
"I was actually thinking about this last week, i wanted grey-deluca or deluca-grey just in case they go into the medical field but I didn't want Brooke to feel left out or that she's different.." Meredith started rambling.
Andrew had a big smile on his face ,he leaned in and kissed Meredith. " if it's okay with you do you want to adopt Brooke? Then everything would be official? I've spoken to Brooke about it and she's happy."
"I would love to."
"Have you thought of any baby names yet?"
"Yup, if it's a boy then Tommy and if it's a girl then Kelsey ,I'm sorry I didn't ask for your opinion on them but I've had it picked out since I was like 8."
Andrew put his hand on her thigh and looked into her eyes. " I love those names ,but not as much as I love you."
"Cringe ,but very sweet" Meredith chuckled .
