Somethings don't go to plan (rewrite)

School

"That's the women mommy " Brooke pointed to sam looking at Meredith .
"Andrew who is this "Meredith stood up tightening her grip on Brooke to keep her safe.

"This is sam bello ,Brooke's biological mother " Andrew let go of Sam's wrist.

"What are you doing here ,it's been years you have no right to just show up "Andrew added on.

Meredith took her phone out her pocket and secretly called the cops.

"I came here for my daughter , you can't keep her away from me. I'm her biological mother!"sam was getting closer to Brooke and Meredith when they heard sirens outside Then the door being broken down .

"Hands up and don't move , your under arrest for attempted kidnapping and breaking an entry!" The police had a gun pointing at sam . They hand cuffed her and took her away .

"Are you two okay "Andrew said running over to them

"We're fine "Meredith kissed Andrew quickly but sweetly and they had a quick group hug .

"Who was she mommy "asked a scared Brooke
"She was your birth mommy but she's gone now " Meredith kissed her head to assure her she's safe.

After a long evening they all went to sleep with Brooke in the middle of them curled up in a ball ." I'm sorry about tonight mer I wanted it to be special " Meredith could see the sadness in his eyes ,she put her hand on his cheek.

"don't be sorry ,it was perfect , well maybe not police part but before that was great" she leaned in for a kiss ,after a mini make out session Andrew broke the silence.

" so do you wanna move in ?" Meredith chuckled slightly "of course ,I'd love to " out of nowhere Brooke shouted "yay she's moving in !" They all laughed "your meant to be asleep B"

"this is to exciting !" After some talking they all went to sleep looking forward to the next day .

The next day

Meredith woke up to the sun beaming in her face .she looked over at Andrew,he was staring at her .

"Morning,how long have you been awake ?"
"About an hour ,but I didn't want to wake you" he put his hand in her hair and looked into her eyes . She leans in and kisses him.

"Wait where's Brooke ?" Meredith asked curious.

"She's getting ready for school ,and she was hoping you could take her today" Andrew held her close and put a strand of hair behind her ear.

Meredith sat up and got out of bed "I would love to now have you seen my black dress " she gave him a death look.

"top draw next to your underwear"Andrew chuckled a bit.

She grabbed her things and went to
The bathroom and changed .

When she got out Andrew couldn't keep his eyes off her .

"Andrew .. Andrew ! Hello earth to Andrew " Meredith laughed and sat on his lap.

"Sorry you just -look amazing "he ran his hands up and down The sides of her body.

"We can finish this later but now I need to get Brooke to school "

"nooo just a few more minutes "Andrew tightened his grip on her and chuckled.

"I'll see you at her school okay. Remember the presentation we have to do?"Meredith stood up and kissed him quickly then walked out.

"Brooke are you ready to go ?" She came running down "yup let's goooo" she grabbed Merediths hand and guided her to the car.

"So are you excited for school today?"

"Definitely, today is doctor day and we have to talk about what they do ,also there is a guest coming today , a real doctor !"

"Wow that seems like a lot of fun ..do you wanna know a secret!"
Brookes eyes opened more.

"Me and your dad are the special doctor guests today " Meredith only accepted the offer because it was in brookes classroom and she seemed very excited about it .

"Okay we're here I'll see you in an hour honey "
"Bye mommy!"

Hour later outside
Meredith and Andrew arrived at her school .

"You can't wear that in there mer" Andrew looked her up and down a few times
"And why not " she smirked.

"Because it will make me want to pin you against wall and do stuff that definitely is not suitable for kids " Meredith chuckled as they made there way in.

They walked into the class room hand in hand.
"HI DAD HI MOMMY !" They heard Brooke from the other side of the room
"Hi sweetie maybe keep the noise down a little " the class laughed
The teacher got everyone's attention.

"Okay so I'm dr deluca and this is my boss dr grey"

After a long talk they found themselves locked in a supply room having some fun
"Maybe we shouldn't do this here" Meredith was a bit concerned because she didn't want to do this in the middle of a school .
"Your right but we are definitely doing this later "with that he gave her a loving kiss and they got dressed.

Back at the hospital

Andrew got called in for an emergency surgery while Meredith was sat in her office doing paperwork.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" She looked up from her paperwork and sat back on her chair.

The door opened and nick walked through.

(Nick is a doctor in this story)

"Hey dr marsh, what can I do for you." She stood up and sat on the edge of the table.

"I have a chart that I wanted your opinion on." He handed her the chart and she started to look through it.

"So what were you going to do?"

"I was going to go in Laparoscopically." He answered.

Meredith closed the chart and gave it to him.
"That's what I would do."

Nick put the chart down on her desk and held her waist.

"Dr marsh what are you doing." He didn't say anything, he just kissed her neck.

Meredith pulled his head away and got of the table.

"Take your chart and go."

"Fine I will. But just so you know, if things don't work out with you and Andrew... I'm always here."

"Go."

After Andrew's surgery

Andrew made his way to Meredith office so they could go pick broke up from school.
He knocked for a second then walked in.

"Hey Mer, you ready to go?" He sat down on the couch.

"Yeah." She stood up and put her coat on.
Andrew looked at her a noticed something different.

"Are you okay? You seem a little different."

"I-I'm fine, just a bit tired."

Andrew stood up and held both her hands.

"What happened." Meredith looked into his eyes and tears started forming.

"Dr marsh..nick.. he came in here earlier asking for help on a case then he got closer.. he started kissing my neck a-a-and he wouldn't go away..." Meredith broke down in Andrew's arms.

He held her close.

"I'm going to kill him."
Meredith didn't say anything, she just stayed crying in his shoulder.
