The house, devoid of sound.

What's silent but still so loud?
Silence.
Silence is so loud.
Focus on the wall.
The rest of the room.
Black.
My ears are ringing.
The ringing silence.
But why is it so loud.
For something so quiet.
What's making the sound?
It's your head.
Your head trying to fill the silence.
