Chapter 9 : Trust.

Y/n's POV.
"Huh" Came my reply since I couldn't think of anything else.

She scoffed which caused me to flinch at her sudden rudeness.

I gulped and kept my head down, not daring to meet my parents disappointed gaze.

"Is this how you have raised her to be?" Another aunt said while turning to my mother.

My mother didn't dare to speak a word. Her expression said it all. She was hurt and ashamed.

Jungkook's parents were quite and so was my father.

"That's what happens when you give them too much freedom. I told you Irene was the right match for Jungkook darling" Irene's mother spoke as she turned towards her husband who nodded in agreement.

You wanted to scoff at her incredibly rude behaviour but you stayed put.

Irene was not like her mother. And just for clarification, she never liked Jungkook because he was too tough and rough.

Your heart kept hurting as they spoke harshly. Irene's and Solar's mother kept throwing insults at you while their husbands kept agreeing with them knowing well enough if they didn't, they might sleep on the couch.

"Yeah she's right. Make her stay with you. Let her know how it is to be living like a married lady and what are the actual responsibilities" Solar's mom spoke while she turned towards Jungkook's mother.

"Cause her mother didn't felt the need to teach her" My another aunt said which caused my blood to boil but I stayed quite. Because if I spoke to them like the way to are speaking to me right now.

They might definitely have a heart attack.

Jungkook must have already left and that's the main reason they're all here. Or else my aunts and uncles wouldn't have dared to do this if he was here.

But even if he was, there was nothing much he could do either. We were taught to respect our elders.

Talking back to them would only be seen rude and disrespectful.

"She has some kind of spell on Jungkook in only a few months of their marriage. Imagine what will she do to him or make him do"

"Exactly. Y/n you really have crossed your line this time"

"Girls are better off married. Their job is to serve their husband and take care of their house"

"Look at Solar. How I'm so proud to be called her mother. No complaints till today. And look at you. Just a few months- god!"

"Y/n's mom you should actually teach your daughter the right manner and responsibilities."

"Jungkook's mom. You should keep her in check now. Be strict. Make her drop out right now."

"But I don't want to" I spoke finally.

There was silence and I didn't dare to look up.

"Now you have the guts to talk back-"

"My husband agreed with me on this. He supports me" I finally looked up in their eyes.

"He believes in me" Tears didn't stop flowing from my eyes.

Looking at your parents face only made it worst. Their head was lowered. So you decided to just give in.

For the sake of your parents. For the sake of their respect in this family.

Jungkook's parents had a blank expression.

All your aunts and uncles gave you a look of disgust and shame.

"What are you standing here and crying? Go get your laptop" Solar's mom raised her voice which made me flinch.

Getting out of my thoughts. I nodded slowly as the tears didn't stop.

I brought the laptop and placed it on the table which was kept in front of them.

Holding my hands tightly I prayed for them to stop. I prayed to god, at-least something would happen.

At least someone would help me out.

Jungkook was gone, the only one who believed in me was not here right now.

The moment that I needed him the most but was it his fault?

If he knew this was happening, he would have dropped everything and came to me. But I might have to accept this harsh reality.

I stood still not wanting to do anything. Accepting whatever was happening around. I felt drained.

Drained of all the emotions. Just wanting to hide from the world.

" Jungkook's father. The university whom it belongs to is your close friend. Why don't you just tell him. It'll be easy and would end in just a few minutes" Solar's mom said.

You stood there motionless.

"No-please" Came out my broken voice one last time as I looked at him with pleading eyes.

Suddenly the door bursted open making you flinch hard.

The sound of the footsteps making you understand that the person must he a lot angry.

You rubbed yours tears and looked at the floor. Trying to remember who in your relatives were missing.

But your heart stopped when you heard someone saying.

"And what is going on in here may I ask?"
