Namjoon had been surprised when he had seen Kate's face in the crowd at the announcement of his role as CFO. Since they hadn't divulged personal information – ok any information – about their personal lives when they were at the club, he had no idea what she did for a living. Now that he did, and it appeared he was now her boss, things got a bit more interesting.

Part of his calling today's meeting was indeed to meet his team and to put any fears to rest. He sincerely hoped he did that. He was known as being strict, but fair. He expected top notch work from himself and his employees. That wasn't going to change. But he wanted to get started on the right foot with his new team and setting things in stone would make sure that happened.

The other reason for the meeting of course was to see her again. He hadn't been able to get her off his mind since Friday. Their tryst in the hallway at the club was one for the books. He loved her reaction to him and wanted to feel her body under his again. Ok, so she wasn't exactly under him before, but that's not the point. He wanted her. All of her. And he was determined to get her.

He knew the moment she walked in for the meeting that she was on edge. He was glad because he had been on edge for almost a damned week. He purposefully finished the email he had been composing so he could calm down his hard cock before he stood up. Thankfully little joonie obeyed quickly. Or at least enough that it wasn't embarrassing.

When he called for her to remain in the room, he wasn't sure what he wanted to say, other than to make his intentions known. Without a doubt, he wanted her to know that he would make her his and that was the end of it.

Now, running his hands through his hair, he made his way back to his desk in an attempt to get control of his thoughts and get some serious work done. He couldn't afford to start this new adventure off on the wrong foot.

For the next two hours, he answered emails, went over month end reports, budgets, and other items that needed his immediate attention. When he looked up from his computer it was closing in on one o'clock and realized he was hungry.

Deciding he would head out to the deli down the street, he picked up his keys and headed out of his office. He passed several desks on the way out and smiled and say hi to those who had either already had lunch or were working through their break.

Outside it was a gorgeous day – bright and sunny with warm temperatures. He could almost get away with not wearing his suit coat, but declined going back to his office to drop it off. So for now he would suffer.

As he made his way to the deli, his phone pinged a few times with emails. He looked at them briefly when he got in line to order. As he did so, he heard the bells on the door chime to notify another customer had entered the shop.

"Hey Kate!" one of the workers shouted in greeting. He turned around and lo and behold, it was his Kate. She was too busy talking with the guy across the counter, she hadn't noticed Namjoon.

"Hey Marco, how's business?" She asked, still not seeing Namjoon. Or at least not acknowledging him.

"It's good thanks." She smiled back at him and checked something on her phone. Namjoon turned back around to wait his turn to order, then turned back to face her.

"You must come here a lot," Namjoon said, and Kate lifted her head.

"I do. Well, I try not to come more than once a week, but sometimes it just happens that way." Namjoon leaned close to her ear so no one could hear.

"If you were mine you'd come more than once a week." He smirked as he pulled back, leaving a kiss on her neck, and noticing her shocked expression.

"Next!"

The next day was Friday and after the meeting in Namjoon's office, and the little confrontation in the deli, Kate had buried herself in her work, barely coming up for air. She didn't have the luxury for screwing off at the office, literally. She needed this job to help pay for her small apartment and her car. As it was, she was barely scraping by. If she lost this job, she'd lose her apartment and her car and that wasn't an option.

Going out last Friday night was something that was needed mentally, but honestly she couldn't afford to do it on a regular basis. She was trying to save money so she could get a better apartment and the more she went out, the less money she saved.

But man, what she wouldn't give to go out tonight after the week she'd had. She wanted to lose herself in the music. Dance with whomever she wanted. If she drank she would certainly be getting drunk. Sometimes, like now, she wished she did. But she never would.

Because of what happened to her mom.

So instead, she planned on spending a quiet evening at home with her favorite guys – Ben and Jerry.

By the end of the day, she was so mentally drained, she narrowly missed running into someone, apologizing on her way by, but not looking at them. She just needed to go home. She needed to get her mind straight.

A hand on her shoulder made her stop.

"You ok?" The voice was attached to the most beautiful brown eyes she had ever seen. It was that pair of eyes that stared at her during the meeting. Pierced her when she was in the hallway at the club. She straightened to her full 5'2 frame.

"I'm fine, thank you," she said curtly. "I'm heading home. I've had a long week." She attempted to move past her, but he stood in her way. Something about the way he looked at her made her squeeze her thighs together. She hoped he didn't notice, but the way his gaze travelled down her body said he did.

"I'm sorry you've had a difficult week." He said. She rolled her eyes.

"As if you care," she replied, crossing her arms.

"Oh, but I do care, Kate." He said, brushing a small section of hair behind her ear. She swallowed hard and took a step back. She needed distance. She needed space. The sound of someone walking down the hall made him take a step back as well. "Have a good weekend, Miss Jackman." He said, as the other employee walked by. He smiled at them and then looked back at Kate. He leaned in once they were alone again. "Mark my words. You'll be mine."
