out to see multiple notifications from Adam

I really don't want to go on a date with Adam but it won't be that bad, and i daren't argue with him. I look up from my phone after checking my social media and see Adam shooting daggers at me, i just look down and sigh surely he loves me ? why wouldn't he ? he asked me out in the first place why has he changed? Im snapped out of my train of thought by a paper ball hitting me in the side of the face my head shoots up and i see Adam and his mate staring at me laughing, I flip them both off while picking up the piece of paper and opening it. All it read was 'Fat Sl*g' How pathetic can't even write the word properly I take out my pen and write my response which is just 'ok' i scrunch it up again before throwing it and hitting Adam right in the ear, i bite back my laugh and just stare at him. He mouths 'you'll regret that' and i reply 'bite me' and roll my eyes.

After another 15 minutes the bell goes for the beginning of free periods for those that had them. I start walking towards the library since i have no where else to go, when the library comes into sight im knocked onto the ground by Adam 'Your a little bitch you know that' he hissed 'how dare you speak to me with such attitude!' he shouts, i just let him scream and shout all he wants, after a couple more minutes of shouting he raises his hand so in retaliation i flinch back and grab it. He doesnt say anything he only pulls his hand from mine and raises it again this time he brings it down and it makes perfect contact with my face, i instantly feel tears building and a pinching pain in my cheek. Adam just stares at me and walks off laughing.

*Tw minor anxiety attack but Clover saves the day*

I pick my knees up to my chest and let the tears pour i feel my breath pick up fucking great an anxiety attack in the middle of school. Suddenly i feel a warm hand touch my back 'Hey hey Grey your gonna be okay im here okay ?' I hear Clover whisper 'Hey Grey can you take 5 deep breaths with me ?' I nod and take 5 deep breathes after a while i feel myself calm down, i look up to see Clover sat opposite me her hands on mine 'T-Thank you Clover' I whisper 'It's okay im always here for you okay ?' 'okay thank you' I smile up at her.

We sit in an uncomfortable silence while Clover is on her phone aggressively texting someone i get too curious and ask 'Clover who the hell are you texting ?' 'Adam' She replies bluntly, 'Oh uhm what about ?' i ask while a feeling of dread starts to drown me 'Apparently he's started being horrible to this girl in class and get this he hit her! what a bitch' she replies getting angrier by the second 'Oh I-uh where did you hear that ?' I ask hoping no one saw what happened 'Someone saw it happen while in the library' she pauses and carries on thinking for a while...
