❝ IS THAT A FINGER? ❞

Megumi, Akane, and Itadori fled from the hospital in a hurry as potential lives were in danger at school. Itadori doesn't know what to think anymore as he does not want more lives to be gone as he already lost his own grandfather.

"Do you know any short cuts?"

"Yes, follow me."

It was soon that all three of them arrived at the high school, they all felt a weird pressure coming from the building; meaning it had begun.

"Itadori. . . you stay here. Where's the club room?"

"Fourth floor but hold on! I'm coming with you guys! It's only a couple of months but these guys are my friends! I can't abandon them!"

Akane looked at Itadori with a heartfelt expression, she has never met anyone who is compassionate about their friends. Though, her and Megumi had been friends ever since the beginning of middle school.

Not only Megumi was her friend but she has more friends that she made during the time she has been living at Jujutsu High, including one second year who is currently away in Africa.
Although she was a year younger than him and in the last year of middle school, she wanted to befriend everyone.

On the other hand, Megumi's only friend is Akane as she truly knows him like the back of her hand. He considers the other students at Jujutsu High just his comrades, nothing else to it.

But Megumi is right, why risk Itadori if his life could be on the line as well. Why lose another person?

"Itadori. . . please trust us." Akane articulates.

Itadori watched both Akane and Megumi walking into the school; feeling pessimistic.

Soon enough Akane and Megumi are running up the stairs of the school. Time is ticking and there isn't much time left.

"Okay, I'm going around the hallway to fight off other curses while you prioritize Itadori's friends. We'll both meet at the center of the other side of the hallway."

"Alright but if you're not here by the time I'm done, I'll find you." Megumi reassures.

Akane smiled at Megumi gratefully knowing she has a good friend who's always hesitant but has a good heart.

The girl pulled out her cursed weapon, a katana.
"If I die today, I'll die knowing that I at least saved people." Akane says to herself.

Screams are heard around the area. Megumi tries to find where he heard the scream but was abruptly stopped by a curse who was in front of him.

"You're in my way."

Megumi made his hands into a shape of dogs, "Devine dogs." Within seconds, he summoned two shikigami wolves from the shadows.

    "Go and feast."

Akane heard howling at the other side of the hallway knowing Megumi had summoned his wolves.

She kept walking down the empty hallway but looked at the floor only to see a curse forming.

"Iron flame." Purple flames flowed throughout her katana.

The curse was a shape of a circle, multiple eyes around it. Looked like it could be a grade 4 curse. Akane can kill all grade 4 and 3 curses but when it comes down to grade 2,1, or special grades then she will need to have backup as she still needs a lot of more training.
