Pilot 1

It was evening at Hollywood Arts, and I just finished my part at The Big Showcase. I was sitting next to a woman I knew as Andre's grandma. We were watching some boys from the school do brake dancing to hip hop music. I couldn't lie, I was impressed by their skill. I was peacefully watching, until I heard Andre's grandma scream. "I don't know you!" She screamed and hid behind my seat. I turned my head to look at what or rather who she was screaming at, and it was a cute girl with side sweeped bangs and cheekbones like Angelina Jolie. "Hi. I'm sorry about her, she's scared of mostly everything." I explained to her. "Oh, no worries. Do you know her?" She asked politely. "Mhm, she's my boyfriends grandmother." I nodded. "Oh my god, you're dating Andre?" She asked excitedly. I nodded. "How do you know him?" "Well, he and my sister were paired up for the big showcase, so I helped them rehearse." She explained. "Oh my god! You're Trina's sister?" I asked, with sparkles in my eyes. "Yeah, I am. Why? Do you know her?" She asked, looking embarrassed. "Mhm! We're great friends. She's been at my place multiple times. What's your name by the way?" I asked again (smh I wrote 'ask' more times than I could count) "it's Tori. What about yours?" She turned to me. "It's Khoi." I told her and shook her hand. Right after that, Lane came, and took her and her parents to see Trina. I followed since I was worried for my friend. When we got to back stage, Trina was talking to a doctor. Her tongue was swollen and she was yelling and whining. "Trina!" "What happened?" We asked, "Look at my tongue!" She yelled..well mumbled. "Oh my god, it's huge!" Tori said. After that they started talking about some Chinese mouth gargle for singing and how Trina had an allergic reaction to it. We came to the conclusion that she won't be able to sing tonight. The nurse took her to 'massage her tongue'. "Well I guess my grandma came here for nothing." Andre looked to the ground. "Does anyone here know her part?" "Her sister does." Andre stated proudly."M-me sister?!" Andre nodded. "No, no, no, no. I just helped them rehearse. I'm not even a student here! I-" She was cut off by me and Andre dragging her by the arm. " You know this whole thing inside out! The song, the choreography,.. you can do this! C'mon!" "Nuh-uh!" She disagreed. "She said she'll do it!" He announced and poeple clapped at her. "Yay Tori!" I jumped. "Wait, wait, she can't go on stage wearing THAT." Lane stated disgustedly. " Hey! You!" He pointed to some student. "Get her something cool to wear. And make it quick." He ordered them. "No! Khoi help me!" Tori yelled as we dragged her to the changing area. I made her wear a sparkling black dress that fit her perfectly. "Let go of me! No what are you doing?!" She rambled as we pushed her on the stage......

She sang the song and nailed it. After it she hugged both me and Andre tightly. "You were so good! Congratulations Tori!!" I squeezed her. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" She squealed. "You're really Trina's sister?" Asked Lane. "Fufs faf fufoft fo fean?!" Trina mumbled. After that the principal came to talk to Tori. "Excuse me. W-who are you?" He asked excitedly. "I'm Tori Vega. I was just preforming instead of my-" she got cut off by him. "You don't go to school here?" He asked. "Uhm no." "You want to?" He asked again. " Me?" She asked as we all nodded. " Well should I?" She asked and we nodded again. "But the kids who go here are all like crazy talented." "Well so are you!" I told her. "But what if I'm not good enough?" She was unsure. Everyone started rambling until Andre pulled the curtain and asked the crowd; "Hey!" " Hey Andre!" Screamed his grandma. "This girl doesn't think she's good enough to go to school here. What do you think?" He asked the crowd and they all cheered as a sign for her to do it. "Ok?" He asked. "...Ok!!" She hugged both of us again.
