EX I NEVER HAD
"It's getting hard for me to put my trust in someone when everyone I've ever opened my heart to prefers to tear it apart and let me down."
Cursianna Elias Sufrimiento is one of those women who loathes boys, perhaps because of some personal issues she had back then, when she was in middle school. Despite everything she had undergone, she remained strong--strong enough to deal with life, but the dilemma is that she had forgotten who she was before she fell. Is it really possible to lose yourself in the process of loving someone? Till you get to the point where you start to characterize yourself as a curse because you've always been taken for granted by some of those you believed would treat you the same way you treated them.
Cursianna started to despise it when someone suddenly expressed some interest in her, but when she returns the favor, it will end up looking like she was the one who initiated it. She wasn't the first one who showed interest, so why was she the one who ended up hurt?
That's when she promised herself that she wouldn't let herself be tied to a man in the future. She built a wall instead of bridges, but what would happen if she crossed her paths with Luke Zachary Posadas? Will she let herself rephrase what she promised? Or will Luke Zachary Posadas turn out to be the ex she never had?
