Third person's POV:
The regulars of Seishun Tennis Club are currently worried and curious as to why their new freshman member isn't focused like usual and seems to be in a hurry.
"You all did well today. Clean up the courts then you can leave!" Sumire Ryuzaki, the coach of the tennis club, yelled.
"Hai!" all the members exclaimed in reply, immediately starting to pick up the stray tennis balls and putting them on baskets. The non-regulars left immediately while the regulars stayed behind to have a meeting.
After the meeting, the youngest of the group stoically bid goodbye like he always does but left the school hurriedly which is unlike him with the rest watching him with apprehensive eyes.
The next day, the regulars observed their new member who looks happier and more energetic than normal. They were weirded out by this.
"Nya~Ochibi is acting strange these days! Yesterday, he was unfocused and seemingly in a hurry but today, he looks carefree and grinning which is rare" A red-haired cat-looking boy with a bandaid plastered on his cheek said in wonder.
"He's doing better on his games too" A man with spiky black hair and thick square eyeglasses glinting with light which makes you unable to see through stated his observation. "This will be good data" then he suddenly brought out a green notebook and started writing on it.
"Saa~ I'm curious. What do you think, Tezuka?" a feminine-looking boy wearing a close-eyed smile with well-layered light brown chin-length hair turned to the man beside him who has dark brown hair and a stern look wearing oval-shaped eyeglasses. The latter did not answer the former's question and just kept looking at the members practicing.
Suddenly, one of the two second-year regulars exclaimed with a mischievous smile "Ah! Senpai-tachi, I have an idea!", The regulars except the captain turned to him with curious looks while the other second-year wearing a bandana scoffed mocking "Fssh. As if a baka like you can come up with a good idea"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY, MAMUSHI?!" the said idiot shouted in anger then they started bickering. A timid-looking brown-haired boy in a slight Elvis Presley hairstyle tried to stop their argument but just got ignored.
"Stop it Momo, Kaidoh!" an eggheaded black-haired boy with two locks of hair that stand inwards on the top of his head and the lower half of his hair at the back shaved. The two obeyed their fukubuchou's order but are still muttering curses at each other.
"So Momo, what was that idea you were talking about?" the tensai of Seishun Academy tennis club questioned in interest still keeping the closed-eyed smile on his face.
"Ah!" Momo or in full name Momoshiro Takeshi remembered, "Why don't we follow Echizen to see what he's up to, senpai?"
"But Momo-" the fukubuchou, Oishi Shūichirō, tried to reason how it's bad but got cut off by his doubles partner namely Kikumaru Eiji, "I'm totally in it, nya~"
"This will be a good addition to Echizen's data" added the data specialist of Seigaku, Inui Sadaharu, with a creepy smile and glasses glinting. The regulars took one step away from him except for the ever-smiling tensai, Fuji Syusuke, and the ever-stoic captain, Tezuka Kunimitsu.
The bell then rang signifying class is about to start. The conversation was paused as all the members had to change and go to class.
They continued their discussion at lunch on the rooftop. They kept whispering and glancing at their freshman regular, Echizen Ryoma, who was suspicious of their actions.
The five continued with their plan after school while the other 3 went straight home. The power player with the slight Elvis Presley hairstyle, Kawamura Takashi, couldn't come as he has to help with his family restaurant, the Kawamura Sushi. On the other hand, the captain didn't want to come as he deemed it as nonsense as well as the scary-looking second-year regular wearing a bandana, Kaidoh Kaoru, as he thinks it was stupid.
What the five discovered after following their new member was shocking making even the tensai open his eyes revealing beautiful cerulean blue orbs.

Saa - means Well or Who knows or I don't know
Senpai - means Senior
Tachi - signifies a group
So in this case, senpai-tachi means group of seniors, Momo referring the regulars.
Baka - means idiot
Mamushi - means Viper
Fukubuchou - vice/deputy captain
Tensai - means genius
