The Villages Hope

A long past memory

A couple of days had passed since you agreed to work with Heinsberg, he said that your factory was almost done and that you'd be able to go in soon, you were very excited to be back into what felt like home, however you were also scared to see what Heinsberg could have done to fuck it up. Later in the day you were busy at creating random gadgets and thing, you took a stop to go and get something to eat before you headed back, you decided to make something so you gathered a lot of metal and started working, you began to make sculptures of two women, a man and a dog, you felt a few tears leave your eyes as you looked down on the complete sculpture. Looking down on the sculpture felt like you were back in the memory when the photo was taken.

{Flash Back}

"Y/N! Come on!" a male voice spoke up a female sigh responded "I'll go get her" the same female voice said. The male sighed looking down at the dog in tow of the women "Oh I see you will leave me too" he said to the dog jokingly, "Y/n?"" the female voice spoke up as she opened the door. A sigh once again escaped her as she saw her dear friend hunched over the table drawing, of course its idea to get rid of Mother Miranda, what else would y/n be up to?

"Scrappy, go get her" she told the dog with a little giggle, the dog then ran at the oblivious y/n and jumped onto the table and sat Infront of her, "W-wha- Scrappy what are you doing here?!" you broke out of your working mind and started patting the dog. "Oh, I don't get a hello?" the female voice spoke up as she rested her arm on your shoulder. "Haha, hi y/b/f/n" you said turning your head to her giving her a smile. "Alright come on we got to get going! Elterin is waiting outside for us! C'mon scrappy!" y/b/f/n said as she took the dog and left, you in tow behind her.

"Oh my god! You got the wolf out of her den!" the familiar male voice spoke up, "Oh fuck off Elterin!" you responded with a smile, "Alright you two, lets go the festival wont last forever" y/b/f/n spoke up with a giggle taking the lead back to the town.

The four of you entered town and let out a little laugh, you were greeted with flowers everywhere and people bringing food around and kids running around, "Last day of summer festival, who knows how long it will take for winter to piss off" y/b/f/n said with a laugh leaving you and Elterin laughing.

As you two walked around the town seeing all the activities that you could do you watched as Elterin watched a group make some flower crowns and you sighed before grabbing his wrist and dragging him over, "Hey Lilly! Do you mind if we grab a few flowers and stuff?" you asked the young blonde and nodded with a smile, you grabbed three baskets and then went back to find y/b/f/n, the three of you sat down and started making flower crowns. After you were done you, all smiled with your proud works in your hands, you all put your flower crowns on and smiled, "Normally we don't do flower crowns until spring, wonder why they did it now" y/b/f/n said with confusion, and you let out a laugh "I think Lilly thought it would be nice because a certain someone would be here" you responded with a giggle. Elterin on the other hand was awkward has a bee. So, you and your amazing best friend decided to help him out, you all went back to return the leftover flowers to Lilly and that's when the magical door of opportunity opened for you both. You handed the flowers back to Lilly and then y/b/f/n pushed Elterin over onto Lilly, the second they made contact you both ran as fast as you could and as far as you both could go.

"Y-you think he'll kill us?" y/b/f/n said puffed out, "N-not a chance! I think he will be grateful for us giving him that little push for our dear doves" you responded also puffed out and tired, but no matter how tired you both were it couldn't shake the smile on both your faces of joy.

You and y/b/f/n then kept walking around trying to avoid your dear old friend knowing he would kill you both for these acts! However, he found you at the ice cream stand, he gave you a little glare but a nice smile because you could never actually hate y/b/f/n. Nobody knew why but she was the most loved person in the village, to put in simply you and y/b/f/n were the warrior and Jewel of the village.

After a while you found Scrappy run up to you, he was covered in glitter and had a flower crown on and all and you couldn't help but laugh seeing the glitter covered puppy running for his life to you, you saw the little swam of kids after him and you simply sighed as you got ready to catch your dear old pup. Just as he was about to go through your legs you grab him and picked him up as he tried to hold onto you for dear life. You let out a little laugh as the swam of kids came to a stop at you.

"Hey! We were playing with that puppy!" a girl said in an angry tone, "Get your own dog!" a little boy said also angry, a bunch of the kids started getting mad or upset that you took the puppy and you let out a little giggle "Kids, Kids, Calm down! he needs rest, he cant handle so many of you swarming him with glitter! He loves playing but not when its glitter and glam!" you explained to the kids and they all ran away upset, other then the one little girl who stood before you with the same flower crown as Scrappy. "D-did he like the crown" she asked, and you put down scrappy and let out another little laugh "I think he enjoys the crown very much unlike the glitter, did you make it?" you asked the sweet little girl as you got on your knees. She simply nodded not sure if she would get in trouble. "Thank you for making it, I didn't think of making one for him! now you better run along and go find your family!" you thanked her as you got up. You watched as she smiled before running off.

"So scrappy looking good?" you said with a laugh looking at the dog, "Hey! Group photo!" Elterin butted in before shoving y/b/f/n at you as he passed the camera to Lilly and running in, you let out a laugh as you held up Scrappy, with y/b/f/n on your left with one arm around you and the other holding up a peace sign, meanwhile Elterin stood behind you both making a heart. You managed to sneak in the middle finger while holding scrappy and with the biggest smile ever knowing that you had managed to put the middle finger up.

{End Flash Back}

You sat on the floor with tears flooding your faces, your cheeks stained with tears and the metal table that had the statues resting on them had a puddle of your tears showing the reflection of your crying face as you thought about the time the photo was taken.
