Lilly wouldn't come out into the deep end of the forest, she normally would ask y/n and scrappy to do it on Thursdays, it was Monday. Amara's wedding was over three years ago. And that's what made it all click. He never made it back. Lilly didn't find him. Mother Miranda chased him after his fall. So, this was it then. The end of his life? Lilly would never get the good boyfriend she deserved, y/n would forever be the villager's pawn and y/b/f/n would be responsible for y/n's death. And scrappy! That poor dog would have to watch as everyone around him died from the hands of one of his co-owners.

Mother Miranda walked into the room that held Elterin, "My you are smart! It didn't take you that long to notice" she snickered "Well bringing up past things are not exactly good for the present." Elterin back talked. Mother Miranda merely glared at him, "and here I was going to give you freedom after testing your intelligence! Now I think I might keep you!" "Keep me?! Why on earth would you want to keep me? I'm just a man from the village!" Elterin tried to explain "Oh no my dear puppet, you are much, much more then that".

"ELTERIN!!" Lilly screamed, the whole village was spread out looking for the poor boy, "Y/n! I can't find him!" tears filled the young blonde, "Lilly its ok he couldn't have gone far! Go back to the village and check with the others if they have found anything" y/n tried to reassure her, and she nodded and followed the instructions. "C'mon scrappy we got to find him" she turned to her dog who nodded and ran ahead to look. "You know she took him, that's why you sent her back so why bother trying to get scrappy to look?" y/b/f/n spoke up. "Just hush, ok?! I'm trying to keep this together. If she did take Elterin then we will all be screwed. Elterin knows the village like the back on his hands, from the secret pathways to my plans. So, IF he is with her. We need to get him back as soon as possible." y/b/f/n didn't even try to argue, she knew that they were all in this mess because of her, so if Elterin dies then she would be blamed and outcasted. And that was something she didn't want.

"Y/n, I'm worried what if he is you know..." y/b/f/n started, "Just don't, please! We are in this mess because of you, now just please! We need to find him!" you responded. The idea of your enemy having one of your best friends made you angry but knowing it's because your other friend is the reason hurt you.

"Y/b/f/n, go help Lilly, comfort her or something, Scrappy and I are going to go deeper in the woods" you instructed. She didn't even bother trying and just nodded and started to walk back to the village.

"It's all my fault, I shouldn't have told everyone when surely it was just a misunderstanding! Right?" y/b/f/n was trying hard to keep it positive, but how could she? She could be the reason her best friend dies! Someone's death is a heavy guilt and if they are close to you, it's even worse. "Elterin please come home safe and alive" y/b/f/n said as she walked into the village.

Once y/b/f/n entered the village she felt a hard force smash her across the face, she lost her balance for a moment before catching herself. "This is all your fault!" the female voice yelled! And she knew who it was. Lilly. Elterin's crush since forever and girlfriend since the festival. She deserved the slap in the face for her stupid actions. But she couldn't say anything, yes, she knew it was her fault, but she didn't have the courage to say anything. "You dare to stand here! When Elterin is out there alone and most likely in danger because of you!" she turned to walk away. "You really are a bitch" y/b/f/n spoke as Lilly was walking away. "Excuse me?"
