It was nearly sundown, Light fairies flew to the sky to say goodbye to the resting sun and welcome the rising moon. Some of them assembled at the bottom of the Hollow Tree, getting the lighting ready for this special occasion from above.

Nature fairies worked to do some finishing touches on the flower decorations that filled the venue, sticking some extra flowers here and there so no variety was left untouched. The rest stay atop the venue, baskets of flower petals ready to go.

Water fairies brought water from the lakes and rivers, using them to creating dewdrops on archway roots and flowers. A couple of them stayed at the side with tadpoles, readying bubble circles for them to blow.

Fire fairies lit the torches around the venue, illuminating the entire place with warm lighting. Animal fairies brought families of creatures in, filling the empty seats of the venue.

Horns flew for the arrival of the Higher fairies. The Higher fairies, keepers of the seasons and caregivers of all fairies, together they welcome the seasons of life into their world and the mainland. The Queen of Fairies stood elegant in front of them, smiling happily as she gazed down at all her subjects.

Her eyes turned to the garden at the center of the venue. There were bozens of flowers awaiting their bloom, which would come at a moment's time. They are called the Buds of Life, and this ceremony is called the Blooming.

The venue slowly quietened down when it was finally in the middle of the night, everyone anticipating the commencement of the ceremony. Four fairies flew in front of the Queen, giving her and the Higher fairies respectful bows.

The four fairies were of the three out of four season: summer, autumn and spring. Every few decades, the Buds of Life are due to bloom to welcome newborn fairies into the world. A selective amount of fairies are chosen to perform a special dance to bloom the buds, the dance of Seasons.

The Queen nodded to the four fairies with a smile. The four fairies gave her another bow and flew to surround the Buds of Life. Once they were in position, the music began and they moved to dance. Each fairies danced to represent each of the three seasons, feeling the garden with hope and cheer. The fairies on the sidelines watched in awe at the performance.

They danced happily until the slither of dawn.

The four fairies gathered at the centre of the garden and smiled to one another. They sprinkled fairy dust onto the buds, feeling none behind. The fairies watched as the flowers bloomed just as the sun rose, feeling the place with natural sunlight.

One by one, the flowers opened their petals to reveal young fairies who had just awoken from slumber. Everyone gathered around to welcome them into the world, taking their hands and teaching them how to fly.

Once they've enough fairy dust on their wings, their bodies glowed a certain colour to reveal their talents. Some obtained nature, some obtained water, some obtained sunlight and some obtained fire.

The Queen of fairies watched from above as more of her children was born into the world. One of the fairies brought a new bloomed fairy to greet the Queen, it seemed that he had already found his talent: wind.

The older fairy guided the younger to properly bow and greet the Queen. The Queen held her hand out to him, offering him to hold her hand. The older fairy coaxed him to go forward, so the young fairy slowly but surely put his hand into the Queen's silky smooth one.

"Young one," she began. She smiled at his big bright eyes and said, "Let me see your wings." And so the fairy timidly turned around to show her his wings. After looking through every detail of his wings, the Queen smiled once more as he took both his hands in hers this time. "They are beautiful ones, dear."

The fairy looked surprised, but he quickly gave her a bow. "T-thank you, my Queen..."

"What shall you name him, Queen?" chimed in the Man of Summer. The Higher fairies also seemed fond of the new fairy, and collectively decided that he should be given a name worthy of the Queen herself.

After giving it much thought, the Queen smiled again. She turned around to the fairy again, a hand on his cheek.

"Welcome, Cyclone."
