(Y/n) woke to the sunlight peering through the window of the room he shared with eren and armin

(Y/n): what time is it

Looking at the sun (y/n) guessed it was nearing 11 or 10

(Y/n): the scouts have probably left already eren just wouldn't shut up about wanting to watch them leave

(Slam)

The door to the room shuddered like some one had just punched it

??: (y/n) are you awake?

(Y/n): yeah who's there

??: it's me Samuel I've come to tell you were swapping jobs I'm taking your place on cannon duty

Samuel was another graduate from the 104th cadet Corp

(Y/n): why are we swapping wait there I'm coming out

Fear rose in samuels voice

Samuel: don't come out there's no real reason why the higher ups just decided it ok

Suspicion rose in (y/n) was this some kind of prank that will get him in trouble with the higher ups

Going silent and looking at the door (y/n) could make out Samuel whispering to someone

Samuel: is that good enough I did what you told me now let me go

??: no you haven't told him what job he now has

Samuel: ouch ouch ok stop I'll tell him

Samuel: so yeah instead of going to the cannons on the wall your going to be handing out pamphlets to help find new recruits for the next cadet Corp around town

Tired of what ever kind of joke this was (y/n) rushed the door and pulled it open

Samuel was stood there in his uniform one of his arms twisted behind his back his other arm holding recruitment pamphlets at his side

to the right just barely noticeable someone jumped round a corner out of sight

Samuel: what you mean?

Samuel: I don't know what your talking about just take the pamphlets and do your job

Samuel shoved the pamphlets into (y/n) chest and ran off to the left the opposite way the figure went

Watching Samuel run away literally run like back in training shadis will punish slackers run you couldn't help but notice he was sweating

(Y/n) thoughts: all he did was come tell me about a job switch what could cause him to sweat so much its not a very hot day

??: (y/n) there you are I was just told about Samuel swapping with you

Jean: dammit your not even dressed why did Samuel swap with you was it your idea
