When the archery contest took place next day, Melodiana decided to go for a walk. She slowly stood up from her throne beside her mother. "I'll be right back," she excused herself and Christian gave her a nod in permission to go and Melodiana left.
She walked behind the contest field when someone suddenly grabbed her from behind and she screamed. "Now, I need you to keep quiet, little Princess," Dimitri hissed wickedly as he held a knife against her neck. Melodiana whimpered in fear and nodded fearfully.
Christian stood up worriedly after a while when Melodiana still had not returned for a while and he walked down from the royal family's seating area. "Melody!," he shouted worriedly. Aranel walked over to his father hurriedly. "Melody!," he exclaimed loudly. Adelina swallowed worriedly. The Knights immediately began searching the area. "Isn't this a wonderful reunion!," Dimitri interrupted as he showed up with Melodiana, holding her firmly. Christian drew his sword quickly and aimed it towards the young man. "Let go of my daughter!," he exclaimed threateningly. The man smiled wickedly and threw Melodiana aside to the ground and Aranel hurried over to his sister. "Is this how you're supposed to welcome your son... Father?," Dimitri asked tauntingly. Christian swallowed. "You're...?," Dimitri smiled wickedly, "Yes, Father... I'm Dimitri, your nephew and son created by my mother with the help of your blood," Christian swallowed. "What do you want?!," he asked angrily. Dimitri smiled wickedly and began circling for himself. "Well," he continued, "I want what's rightfully belongs to my mother. You're going to fall, Christian. And nothing can stop that," Christian raised his sword angrily towards Dimitri. "I think I can!," he threatened and Dimitri shook his head. "It's not our destiny to fight the final battle here, Father," he said tauntingly, "Soon, we will fight," Christian looked at him hatefully and Dimitri looked over his father's family and friends. "We'll see each other soon again, Father!," he declared, "And then it will be you who will fall," And he started to sing,

Well, they say nothing grows

And let the Cambion come crashing down
Christian swallowed and Dimitri smiled wickedly and disappeared in a dark cloud of smoke and Adelina looked up at her husband worriedly.
