The Battle of Caldirus had just begun. All of the battlefield, demons, Leclitras, and humans fought against The Dark Witches army. Aranel fought by his father's armies side while his parents kept themselves close to each other's sides. The Demons easily took Melinda's mortal army down due to the fact that they were immortal and Melinda's army was not. Christian soon realised that he had lost his son in the battle but he knew his son was strong enough to take care of himself. The armies was soon joined by dragons appearing high in the sky with Keegan and Reyna as their leaders. Christian ducked when the dragons burned some of Melinda's armies to death. Christian knew he needed to find his son and he and Adelina began fighting their way forwards. Adelina used her magic to take some soldiers to the ground. The battle was brutal and Christian watched his men fall to the foe.
The demons were overjoyed when Adrienne's demons joined them in the battle and the witches army was slowly began to fall apart. "CHRISTIAN!," Adelina screamed warningly when a few of Melinda's men run against her husband for a surprise attack. Christian turned around when suddenly, lightning struck the soldiers backwards and Christian looked up confused. Far up on the mountain stood the old wizard his knights had told him they had met while searching for him all those years ago. The sorcerer struck down another number of Melinda's men with lightning. Christian started fighting against Melinda's men once again and the man disappeared out of his sight. "AMBROSE!," Melinda exclaimed angrily and the sorcerer struck the witch to the ground with his magic.
Christian then set off to find his son who was still fighting in the battle out there somewhere. Adelina fallowed quickly behind her husband. The couple prayed that it was not too late and that he was still alive. They did not notice Dimitri secretly fallowing up behind them.
Cerridwen had not been so lucky. She had been struck down by Keegan and lay now dead with the other soldiers of Melinda's. But still, the battle had only begun.
