-five years later-

The end. It was the last realm, or so was told. Well, it was true, there was no other realm after this, only going to the beginning again.

Skesis was holding on to his father, Orchari's hand. Nora, his mother, was on the other side of Orchari, holding his hand and looking nervous. They were staring at the red light that shimmered from a castle.

''We have to do this. To reach new heights, to be able to do things we can never do if we don't escape this place. To stop the harvesters. We have to.'' Orchari was muttering, gripping both Nora and Skesis's hands tightly as he started to move. Nora let go of his hand to scout for rocks that they could hide under as the rocks started to tumble and crash and fly towards them. They were called the flying stones. A suitable name.

''Over here!'' Nora called, and Skesis turned around to look at her. She was at a ledge that was jutting out the ground. It would shield them from the flying stones, which were already rumbling along the way. Orchari scooped up Skesis and ran, Skesis being frightened as the rumbling grew louder. Please let us make it out please let us make it out please let us make it out-

And they had made it to the ledge just in time as the flying stones rumbled next to them, claiming an avatar. They screamed in pain before they fell to the ground, their cape disintegrating before they turned into stone. Blue veins dotted and ran throughout their body.

Nora backed away quickly. Never before had she seen such a sight. Skesis whimpered. Orchari hugged them both. ''We're going to make it.'' he said, his voice stern and unbreaking, like a stone. A stone that would comfort them until their end. Skesis looked at him. I wish I could be strong like father. Not scared.

They had repeated this process a few times, avoiding the Dark Dragon as its shining blue eye searched the rocky terrain for avatars and skykids to devour. They had finished another flying stone attack when a whirring sound interrupted their path. It was right overhead them, right overhead the rock they were hiding under.

Nora held her breath, and Orchari clapped a hand over Skesis's mouth to avoid his little squeaks of fear to reach the monstrous beast. He pulled him close, and Skesis snuggled into his side, wishing that they could make it.

An avatar next to them decided to make a run for it to the shelter of the second pipe, which also led to the same place, as well as to try and eliminate the dragon, so others would not suffer the same fate. They bid Nora and Orchari goodbye, patting Skesis on the head. ''Take care, young one.'' they said, before running out to the red-pink-grayish sky.

The Dark Dragon had spotted the avatar and the pulsing blue light turned red. The avatar didn't scream, but beads of sweat were starting to form on thier forehead.

The family ran towards the first pipe, with Skesis and Nora looking back as Orchari pushed on forwards.

The avatar ran, running as fast as they could, before the dragon lurched towards them and nearly swallowed them whole, with them dodging. Skesis turned back to see the avatar flap up to the dragon and stab the eye with their staff, breaking the staff and its concentration. It roared in pain and dashed straight at the avatar.

They ran, fast fast fast. Speeding away as quickly as they could, so they didn't get caught in the jaws of one of the most feared creatures.

''Take care.'' The family heard a voice whisper, before the dragon rammed into the avatar and caught it. Snapping the avatar's back with its powerful jaws and dropping them, the red-now-blue light had a small hole in it. A staff-sized hole. It flickered and completely blacked out. The dragon couldn't see anymore.
