Jhokka gasped a little, as she was still not used to the sight, although she had visited several times. Tokmoy and Skesis just stared in a sort of awe. The village was where they lived and which they had viewed many times, but each time, they were still astounded by the beauty.

The village's trees had developed branches that grew thick leaves, high above the treehouses that the avatars built and turned into homes. This helped keep the rain out, since long before, the rain would often pour into the treehouses, resulting in flooding. The water that dripped onto the leaves was often deposited in waterproof wooden barrels, which was the water supply for the village. The water was perfectly fresh.

The trees themselves were grayish brown as well as being fireproof, with a sort of seal around them that made them that way. Avatars would usually peel off the seal from the branches, but it could not be peeled off of the large ancient trees themselves.

The treehouses were scattered everywhere around and in the trees that had stood their ground for many centuries. They seemed like cozy homes, with little windows and very comfortable beds. They had leaves as roofs, little rock-lamps for a source of light, which like any other rock lamp, could be lit up with a candle and extinguished by stealing the flare of it, and ladders that led to the ground.

Everywhere the trio looked, they could see treehouses and avatars, as well as campfires here and there. The village usually gave off a home-like feeling. That was what they loved about it. It felt like home.

But it didn't feel like home now. That was what was strange, what was off. The avatars all seemed tense, and some were exhausted, on the verge of collapsing right where they were standing. It had been like this for weeks.

In those weeks, at least six avatars had gone missing, and Skesis had been one of the many loner avatars searching for them. He was taking a break at the campfire, and he had come to the first and second villages to replenish his supplies.

There were two main groups of searching avatars. The group parties, and the loners. They both searched far and wide for their missing avatars, but to no avail.

As the trio made their way towards a treehouse, which was Nora's treehouse, a taller avatar approached them, looking worried. This was Raak, another loner Hidden Forest avatar that was searching for the missing avatars. He was fidgeting with one of the many pouches he had slung over his shoulders, hidden beneath his gray-brown wings.

''What is it, Raak?'' Skesis asked him, as he set Tokmoy down. Jhokka took her hand and led her to the treehouse, so that Raak and Skesis could talk alone just in case, and so Tokmoy wouldn't be frightened if it was grave or disturbing news.

''Three more avatars have gone missing. I'm afraid we're not doing so well finding them. All we find are the dark plants that are scattered everywhere where the avatars were last sighted. Skesis, we need to find them and fast. There's gotta be a mole in the villages, we know they've been spying on every realm.'' Raak looked like he was growing more anxious by the second, like it was a waste of time talking to Skesis and he needed to keep searching. After all, his twin brother also went missing.

''We need to keep searching for the avatars and the mole. There's gotta be someone who's planning these attacks in this realm.'' Skesis muttered, his panic rising rapidly. This was the fourth report with missing avatars. He tried his best not to show his panic.

''Thank you for the update. I'll keep searching, I promise.'' Skesis put his hand on Raak's shoulder, as a sign of ''try to calm down.''

Raak smiled a bit, his nerves seeming a bit better.

They were interrupted when another search avatar from the Hidden Forest stumbled before their feet. They were panicked and breathing hard.

''Avatars-plants took the avatars-escaped-avatars-help-'' the avatar was so out of breath, they could barely talk without taking heavy gasps.
