"WHERE IS IT!"

The woman shouted as she slammed her hands down on the table.

"M-mam I don't think I understand what your talking about."

"Well, you should! Heh... twenty years and I STILL CANT FIND WHAT I WANT!"

The woman sprouted a sharp vine from the palm of her right hand, impaling one of the many books in front of her.

"May you calm down? I am trying my best mam."

The girl said in a frail tone of voice. The girl was young, about 19 at most. She had pale grey eyes with short brown hair that touched the tip of her shoulders. She had almost a mouse-shaped face with big ears protruding from her hair being tucked behind them. She had on a grey tank top and black pants that were too big for her.

She spoke with a soft voice and spoke her words properly. Almost as if she was from a different time...

"Don't tell me what to do Freya, I didn't bring you here to give me advice I brought you here to give me WHAT I WANT!"

"Madam Lucinda, I am deeply apologetic... but please refrain from yelling at me."

Lucinda pushed the books off of her table and took a deep breath as she walked away. As Lucida walked by, she stared at a picture mounted on the wall. It was a photo of her and Roman, her lover from all those years ago...

She looked with sympathy at it as Freya said,

"Um... Madam Lucinda?"

"What-"

As Lucinda turned around, she could see that a seal was cracked on one of the books that fell on the ground. Lucinda took the book and ripped it apart with her bare hands. Freya stepped back and watched stiffly.

Behind the book's binding, there was a key. A key that fits perfectly into a box they had found earlier.

They looked at each other in shock. Freya stepped forward and Lucinda put the key into the box. As the box opened, a gush of wind blew out. Inside was a letter that seemed to be hundreds of years old.

On it was a wax seal of a symbol. A symbol of all sorts of weird squizzles and lines. Lucinda looked confused while Freya knew exactly what it meant.

The letter stated,

"If you seek me, your voyage starts where the wind blows most penetrating in the North."

Lucinda gets a grin on her face. She looks up at Freyas worried look and says,

"Exactly what I've been looking for~"
