"Welcome, All to Ivuria!"
The principal said with his heart full of nerves. Everyone in the auditorium was split between 2 sides. Purebloods vs Halflings...
Jules got up that morning with bags under her eyes. She barely slept at all. The only thing that was running through her mind was how Bellamy betrayed her. But also, what was he after?
The principal gave his speech about why everyone is here today. The entire audience could see his speech was well practiced but no one could tell which side he supported. Emily, a young girl just a bit older than Jules went up to speak. She was the princess of Aquatica, a pureblood family with very traditional morals. She was chosen to speak about the Purebloods side of the school, mainly because of her family's power.
She was a tall slender girl with straight dirty blonde hair. She had light blue eyes with an annoyed look on her face. As she went up to speak, Jules on the other hand went in the opposite direction and snuck out of the dark auditorium.
As she turned a corner she saw Bellamy, her heart started to race in fear.
"Bellamy... what are you doing here."
Bellamy looked different, more confident. Jules could tell just by his stance alone that he was planning something.
"Going inside. Care to accompany me?"
Jules hesitated for a second. Every bone in her body was saying not to trust him but, if she said no... he would know she was up to something as well~
So she thought.
For those 2 seconds of hesitation, Bellamy looked angry at her. Jules said,
"What's wrong?"
He raised his eyebrows and said,
"You're a good actress you know that."
Bellamy blew into her face, and she fainted. Everything was black.
As Jules woke up she felt dizzy and sick.
*What just happened~ I've never seen magic like that before. What's going on...* Jules thought to herself.
Her body started to shiver from the cold. This cold was different. Bellamy had said he was from Frost Mountains but this cold... this cold, achy feeling wasn't like anything she had ever felt before.
Jules started to blink so her vision would clear up. In a room, she didn't recognize she saw nothing, just a blank brick wall.
She looked out the window to her right and saw the school grounds down below. She knew she was in Ivuria, but where exactly was unknown.
Jules tried undoing the knots in the rope that tied her hands together but she couldn't.
"Jules~"
A voice said behind her. As she turned around...
"Mom?"
"Jules what are you doing here?!"
Loralei said as she untied Jules from her chair.
"Mom, how did you find me?"
"They called you up to do your speech and you weren't there~ I sent a shadow lurker to find you and it led me here."
Jules looked down and saw a bit of blood on her mom's shirt.
"Mom that's a big spell it could have exhausted you."
Loralei smiled and said,
"It's all worth it to find you~ now after we get out of here tell me what's going on at this school."
Due to Loralei taking the curse from Zeke, she has been growing weaker and weaker as the years go on. Simple spells make her sick, let alone powerful ones.
Jules nodded as they both turned around to leave but as they did, a gust of wind slammed the door shut.
They both jumped and looked at the person standing behind it.
"Bellamy~"
Jules said as she stood in front of her mom.
"Suprise~ hm sadly I can't allow you to depart yet. I'm still not finished with you."
"What do you want with me? Who are you!"
Jules yelled as Bellamy laughed.
"I'm here doing a job, nothing more nothing less."
"And what is this job exactly~"
"Well once I kill you, your grandfather supposedly comes back. Therefore my people get freed from the ice that has encased us for 500 YEARS!"
"W-who are your people then..."
Bellamy unleashes a blast of wind that pins Jules to the wall, Jules can't move let alone breathe from the pressure.
Bellamy walked closer to her and said,
"The superior primal source."
Loralei ran and pushed Bellamy to break his concentration. Jules fell to the ground in relief.
Bellamy looked down upon Loralei. As he raised his hand, he removes all of the air inside Loralei's lungs. Loralei begins to choke, gasping for air that will never come. She looked at Jules for what she thinks will be her last seconds~
Jules gets up and focuses her dark magic into her hands, her nails begin to grow longer and sharper.
Loralei's eyes widened in fear as Jules stabs Bellamy in the back. Bellamy falls to the ground and Jules looks at his body.
The room goes silent... Loralei catches her breath... Jules relaxes her hand.
Loralei stood up and grabbed Jules by the shoulders, she screams
"WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT!"
"W-what"
"Where did you learn that? There is only ONE person who knows how to do that but she's... Where Jules?!"
"Mom I-"
"ENOUGH!"
Bellamy yells as the wind knocks Jules and Loralei to the ground. Bellamy stands up, unharmed.
"H-how did you~"
Jules said in shock, her heart begins to race and her mind spins in confusion. Loralei expressed the same feeling.
"Air can do remarkable things when it's running through every single cell in your body. Air provides energy, life, power~ I can't expect you to understand."
As Bellamy towers over them with an evil look in his eye, he hears an unexpected voice. Something that will change his fate forever~
Once clicks of high heels clank in the background, the woman said
"Well then. What did I miss?"
