The minute I returned to my seat at my desk my friends were already there, blasting me with questions. I waved them off, not wanting to forget anything about what the man in the elevator had told me about himself.

I flipped open my laptop, opening up my OneNote and typing furiously before my memory faded:

Bachelor 1:
Likes steak, medium rare
2 dogs- golden retrievers
Likes golf
Favorite animal- tiger
Large family- close with them
Guitar?
Thinks I'm pretty
Seemed tall and muscular
Smelled nice
Made me feel calm; easy to talk to
How good was this date out of 10: 8

"He told you you're pretty!?" Lydia squealed from behind me, causing me to jump.

"Quit reading my notes," I lectured, closing my laptop. "They're private."

She scoffed. "There's no such thing as privacy in our little cubicle. You know that."

"Yeah," Hayden chimed in from his desk. He used his feet to push his rolling chair away from the desk so that he was now facing me. "So spill it, Ky."

I knew I wouldn't be able to ignore the questions from my friends, so against my better judgment, I ended up disclosing everything to them- every detail I remembered. Turns out, telling my friends about it actually helped me to recall even more information that I had initially forgotten. I was quick to type it all up into my notes.

"Who's the greatest friend in the whole world," Rory announced as he returned to his desk. We hadn't seen him yet today, and for a moment I thought he wasn't even coming in.

"Is it you?" Cole asked, his voice monotone.

"Damn straight it's me," he smiled. "Ask me why."

"Why?" I asked along with the rest of us.

"Because I just got us all tickets to see Paramore tonight at the Underground. Who's in!?"

"Wait you got the tickets before we even committed?" I teased.

"Well... yeah, I guess. I just assumed you guys would be excited about it. So, again I ask, who's in?" Rory announced, throwing one of his hands up as if volunteering.

"You know I am, babe," Ellie encouraged, standing to give him a kiss on the cheek.

Lydia and Hayden were quick to commit as well, leaving just Cole and I.

"I don't know if I can..." Cole started at the same time as I stated, "I'm in."

"But... I suppose I can make it work," Cole concluded, shooting me a smile.

"Awesome! That makes everyone then. I have your tickets- just meet up at mine around 7, and we can all go together," Rory said, taking his seat at the desk.

"Where were you this morning anyway?" Ellie asked him.

"Procuring the tickets! I know a guy on the graphic design floor who is tight with the manager of the band," he explained before fixing his eyes on me, "Just don't tell Mr. Kramer I wasn't at my desk."

"Why are you looking at me?" I asked.

He shrugged, "I don't know, he calls you to his office a lot."
