A/N: Sorry to interrupt! I am only in 7th grade and boy can I tell you we have soooooo much homework! So that's why I don't publish a lot! Anyway I am on April vacay! I will be publishing probably 3-4 chapters this week! Enjoy this chapter!
Misty's POV
"Today's the day! I'm soooooooo excited!" I sing-song my way into the kitchen.
"Why?" Alex groans behind me.
I'm wearing my hair up in a messy bun with some chopsticks going through the middle, an adorably peach sundress with white gladiator sandles and a white shawl.
"Um because it's our SEVENTEENTH BIRTHDAY!!!!" I screech in his ear.
"Ow." He says, annoyed.
"Oops?" I playfully poke him and he try's to pour milk on my head ,but I slid out of his grasp. "Oh no, you are NOT getting milk on this dress! You did enough to me last week!" I say, regretfully remembering the week before when he tackled my crush in school with prank day. Now I had like no chance with him!
It was prank day! And lunch was when they all happened, the period we were it
And now I would have no chance with my one and only crush!
"Well anyway..." Alex said, concluding what I daydreamed out of. "I'm going to pour milk on you now!"
"What? No!" I ran out the front door, barefoot and was very glad I had my bikini on as I peeled my sundress off, running towards the ocean.
"I'm gonna get you!" He screamed after me as he ran after me with the big gallon of milk in his hand. Ugh, weirdo! He was still in his pj's
I dived gracefully and smoothly into the water, my legs tingled a little but maybe that was just the salt water of the ocean. Suddenly the water around me began bubbling and sparkling and I had no clue what was happening!
"Help! Alex! Help!" I yelled above the bubbling noise.
"Misty! Misty, where are you?" He yelled.
"I'm in the water!" I yelled as the powerful current took me under the water.
All I could think was I need help. I tried to swim up to the surface but the sparkling fizz was everywhere! I couldn't see, I couldn't breathe, and I was gonna drown! Suddenly I felt strong arms around my waist, causing my to let the rest of my breathe out. I was about pass out and then the hands let go, why? I opened my eyes, about to let go to life when I see Alex holding my hand, swimming me through the ocean. I couldn't take it anymore. I filled my lungs with water, wait what? I wasn't dead! I shot my eyes wide open, and took my wrist out of my brother's strong fist. What was happening?
