Chapter 20.1 - Back to Square 1

Jake left his classroom, wanting to go home he immediately stop on his tracks hearing his name.

"Hey Jake!"

Jake looked back and saw his best friend.

"Sunghoon again, I'm leaving. I already told you at lunch"

"Woah woah, slow down mate we're not hanging out. I just have to tell you something" Sunghoon chuckled, circling his arms on his friend's shoulder in a friendly matter.

"Your gonna go there again aren't you?"

"Shut the fuck up!" Jake exclaimed.

"Yeah yeah, but I'm here to tell you, Miss Kwon is having an assessment tomorrow, give me your notes by tomorrow morning. That's it, thank you!" Sunghoon said before he patted his friend's shoulder and leaving him.

Jake just went out of the school and to the rooftop of an abandoned building, his favorite place.

Upon opening the door, wanting to watch the scenery, he was greeted by an oddly looking yet very familiar man who stared at him.

"Hmm? Yes boss?" Jake asked.

"Hello, Agent 125 I have an offer for you"

"Specify"

"2 million won for giving me information regarding a student named Yang Jungwon" The man offered.

"2 million is cheap" Jake thought, smirking he said "Mhm, sorry but I want 5 million won"

"5 million it is then, you know the rules. When you disobey a part of the rules I will have to tell you the consequences through a call"

Jake nodded to the rules. He was willing to have 5 million won to spend on some new camera equipment and maybe other miscellaneous items.

Going back to the school Jake was a bit shock to know that his next target studies at the same school as he is.

Quietly stepping the stairs to the rooftop he opened the door just a little bit.

"G-G-Get O-Out!" Jake saw a girl on the floor with a male staring down at her, smiling.

He was sure the male is Jungwon based from the picture his boss gave him.

"P-P-Please, let me go. P-Please.."

Suddenly Jungwon stood still and looked at his surroundings. Jake hid his body when he noticed Jungwon looking, thankfully, he wasn't caught.

He smiled sinisterly before putting the blade on her left hand and adding pressure onto it. Later it went through the girl's chest and she was soon dead.

Jake however didn't miss the chance to take a snap to send it later to his boss. Now his one step is done.

"Boss, I have a plan" Jake said the next day, entering the headquarters with a sly smirk.

"Yes Agent?"

"I'm planning to get the target's information through the use of his love"

"Why?"

"Simple boss, the target is secretive, who else can know his secrets if he has a low-profile?"

"His lover?"

"Mhm, now once all information are gathered, I'll make sure to break his heart and hand it all to you boss"

"You better, that plan seems to be interesting. Nice choosing of plan, I like it. Are you confident to do it by yourself?"

"Yes boss, I'am confidential with this case"

"That's the answer that I want! And remember, this is your chance of getting promoted, if you don't succeed this, consequences will happen. You don't want to lose your job, do you?"
