Chapter 7 - Look at the Window

"Hurry, remove the plastics from the knives" Jake said, starting to remove some too.

The plastics were used in order to not let them find out their fingerprints. And why were they using plastics instead of plastic gloves? It's way harder to remove evidences from knives used.

"Remove your shoes and give it to me" Jake said, reaching his hands out and Jungwon gave him his shoes, standing with his socks only, feeling the cold cement floor under his feet but he didn't mind at all.

Jake opened a door from behind and they started running, with only socks on through a forest. Jungwon holding his and Jake's school bag while Jake held his and Jungwon's shoe, their shoes has blood around them and they had to remove them in order for the police to not see their footprints.

Jungwon followed Jake to a small house across the river. There they used rocks that were fine for them to step on.

They ended up staying inside the house.

"H-How did you know this?" Jungwon asked Jake, looking around  the house and seeing very old and rusty furniture around it.

"I knew police would suspect us. So I made a backup plan, I planned this day starting my second year of high school" Jake said, walking around and sat on a mat.

"Who's house is this?"

"I don't know, I just saw it one time and decided to check it out" Jake said, shrugging his shoulders and decided to lay down.

"Clean your shoes with the river water, you have to go home soon" Jake said, facing the shoes that laid beside him.

"I'll handle the rest, it's my crime anyway. Thank you, mate" Jake said, smiling widely.

"Thank you too"

Jungwon went out to clean his shoes with river water, he was careful to not put the shoe entirely in to avoid wetting the shoe and making the blood visible in the water.

Once he was finished he wore his shoes and went back inside to get his school bag. He took his school bag and left, not forgetting to say a goodbye and thank you.

Jungwon continued walking to the forest until he saw the opening of his school. The forest is not a part of the school but some students go there for fun.

He went inside the school and went to his direction to his house like a normal teenage boy again.

On the way he kept thinking about the kiss that happened between him and Jake. Did he also fell in love? Why did he want to kiss him back?

Jungwon entered his house and there was no one in, he hurriedly went in his room and took a nice bath.

After taking a nice bath he texted Niki about asking if they could still go to the arcade tomorrow, Niki immediately agreed and said he has something to tell him too.

Jungwon let out a sigh before scrolling through several social media apps, sometimes through TikTok or Instagram.

While scrolling he received a message from someone.

Hey, Jungwon. Are you home now?

Who the fuck are you? How do you know my fucking name? Why are you questioning my location?

Chill it's just me, Jake. Have you already forgot about your student? What a bad teacher!

Oh frick! Sorry!

It's fine but can you please look at your window?

Hmm? Specify? I have a lot of them.

Jungwon closed his phone and went towards the window Jake told him to do. He saw him he's down there smiling brightly.

"What the fuck are you doing!" Jungwon yelled, earning a 'shh' sign from the man below.

Jake took his phone and messaged him something, later receiving a ding sound from Jungwon's phone.

Jungwon looked at the text.
