Chapter 9 - Be careful, ok?

I looked at the other side and formed my lips as a straight line, my finger fidgeting with each other. I can feel my cheeks burn from the shyness I'm receiving until I felt movement beside me.

"Jungwon" Jake called out. "Thank you" He said, hugging me and catching me in for a surprise.

I hugged him back, burying my face on the crook of his neck. A smile displayed on my face that can only explain the happiness I felt.

"It only took you less than an hour to know you fell in love with me already?"

"I sort of reflected everything that happened since the day we met but anyways, were together now, right?"

"Mhm and I promise, I'll be there for you forever, mate"

I lifted my face to see him and he was so cute. His puppy smile matching his puppy face is so cute.

What more could I do than lean in and kiss him right? Well, that's what I did.

Author's POV

Jake was surprised by the sudden action but he unhesitatingly kissed back. It was a sweet kiss, full of love and passion, nothing more.

After a couple of seconds the new couple broke the kiss.

"We're so cool right?" Jungwon asked. "From being maniacs at an abandoned warehouse, escaping policemen wearing only socks on and now, kissing cutely in my room?"

Jake giggled. "We're more than cool, love"

"Aww how much that nickname gives me butterflies" Jungwon exclaimed receiving a chuckle from Jake and they started cuddling on the bed.

"Hyungie, it's time to go. We have school tomorrow" Jungwon said, smiling at his boyfriend.

After watching movies and having talks about getting to know more about each other, it was finally night time and Jungwon's dad might be on his way home already.

"Let's meet tomorrow at school, okay? Go to our first meeting place" Jake said, he stood up and gave Jungwon a hug before pecking his lips. Things escalated quickly for Jungwon so Jake gave him a pinch on his nose bridge.

"Ow hyung!" Jungwon exclaimed.

Jake chuckled before saying a 'let's go' and letting Jungwon lead the way for him to go to the back door.

"Bye Jakey Hyung!"

"Bye, Wonie!"

Jungwon closed the door before going to his room.

After closing his bedroom door, he slide down and leaned his head against the door.

His inner self screaming so loud with the recent events.

"Shut up! Your a killer! Act tough" Jungwon scolded himself.

"I should tell Niki about this, right? But he doesn't even know Jake. AT ALL"

"Welp, I guess I'll have to keep our relationship a secret to him. Only when the time is right" Jungwon thought to his self before doing his night routine until he heard his father arrived at home.

Jungwon opened the door to his room and he saw his dad. He was always tired after his job and he understands him.

"Jungwon, my dear" his father said.

"Yes dad?"

"Be careful ok? There was this case of a boy in your school, he was found dead in a warehouse, a lot of cuts and scars" his father told him.

"I want you to understand that you may be the victim of this, ok? So watch out" his father said.

But little did he knew that the man who killed was the man beside him already.
