Character description

James and Amelia where always closer than most siblings. They had grown up in a house full of happiness and love. All their lives they had waited to go to Hogwarts and become witches and wizards like their parents. Although when James comes back with a load of his friends, Amelia does not approve.

Fleamont Potter was a family man to say the least. He had made a fortune from potions and so retired at a young age. Fleamont was also very big on quidditch, which caused his children to also develop a liking for it. Just like his son he played chaser and had an obsession with his hair.

Euphemia Potter or Mia as everyone called her, was a bubbly and happy woman who went into the ministry after Hogwarts. She always wanted children but after ten years of trying with her husband she began to give up. However in the spring of 1960 her first child James was born. A year later in the summer of 1961 her daughter Amelia was born. Mia loved her family more than anything and so retired with her husband to a large house in Godricks Hollow.

James Potter was a brave and loyal boy who took a liking to a special redhead named lily. Referred to as Jamie by his sister and prongs by his friends, the boy was brave and would stand against nothing to protect the ones he loved. Like his father he had a love for quidditch and like his mother he had a love for family.

Amelia Potter was a year below her brother as she was kindly reminded most days by him. Her brother nicknamed her 'Bunny' because of an unknown reason. She, like her brother and father, loved quidditch and her beater skills earned her a place on the quidditch team. Amelia also spent a lot of time in the kitchen with her mother and there she discovered her passion for cooking and baking.

The Blacks were a very different family, full of prejudice purebloods. However Sirius and Regulus were not like that, in fact they were the opposite. A Gryffindor and a Ravenclaw, much to their parents distain.

Orion Black was a Slytherin pureblood, who like many others believed in Voldemort and his ways. Once out of Hogwarts he was married to a Miss Walburger Black, who was his cousin. He did not love or care for the woman very much despite growing up with her, but Orion needed an heir, which thankfully she would provide. He live a grim life, dying at the age of fifty but he was satisfied, Orion had fulfilled his duty of carrying on the Black line.

Walburger Black was never a nice person, yet who could blame her. Raised to not have emotions and to do what her husband needed. Walburger loathed everyone, especially her sons. One in Griffindor and another in Ravenclaw, where had she gone wrong. So when her husband hit her, she hit her children. When her husband shouted at her, she shouted at her children. When her husband stopped caring for her, she did the only thing she knew and stopped caring for her children and everyone else around her. She died at 52, although it is said that her spirit still goes on and lives in a painting in number 12 Grimauled place.

Sirius Black was the complete opposite of his parents. Unlike the rest of his family he believed in equal rights for everyone. Padfoot as he was know by his friends liked quidditch, butter beer and girls. He was proud to call himself the sexiest man at Hogwarts, although it was only him that called himself that.

Regulus Black was different from his brother and his parents. He was just as popular as his brother, yet he had less friends. Girls drooled over him just as much as Sirius, yet he never payed attention. Regulus was the top of all his classes, his parents would have been proud was it not for his house. He wished above everything else for a family who loved him but 'happiness comes to those who wait,' he told himself.
