At around three o'clock in the morning four fully dressed boys made their way into the common room. They started in the Gryffindor common room by levitating all the furniture onto the ceiling. Remus made sure they would stay there with a permanent sticking charm, which he made sure would be easy to get off (he didn't want to not have furniture in the common room). "Prongs and Moony will go to the dungeons and do the furniture in the Slytherin common room. Wormtail and I will go to the Hufflepuff common room and then go to the kitchens to make sure the house elves have the potion ready. Then we meet in the Great Hall to do the balloons, deal," Sirius whispered.

"That's great and all but what about Ravenclaw common room." Remus asked. "We'll, I've got help for that." Sirius said and looked up to the stairs.

"Hello boys," Marlene said grinning as she stood next to Amelia and Lily.

"Oh Lily, I didn't think you were coming," Sirius said surprised.

"Well Lia can't do a sticking charm and Marlene's no good either." Lily justified and the boys nodded their heads. "We should probably get going." With that the three groups split off and made their way to the common rooms.

James and Remus were trying to make as little noise as possible and they walked down the dungeon stair cases. "Here we are," James said and pulled out a piece of paper with the password on it. "I nicked this from Mulcibers pocket. The stupid git wrote it on a piece of paper." Clearing his throat the boy read out the password. "Salazar," Remus crossed his fingers and hoped that it would work. Slowly the door creaked open, revealing the green and silver room. The fire still burned and crackled every now and then as the boys began their spells. After a few minutes the furniture was on the ceiling and Remus was finishing his permanent sticking charm (making sure it would be hard to get off).

On the other side of the castle Sirius and Peter had arrived by the Hufflepuff common room door. "Padfoot," Peter squeaked "do you know how to get in?"

"Well Wormy, a little friend of mine told me exactly what to do this evening." Sirius told his friend while smirking as he turned to the barrels. "I must tap the correct barrel with my wand, in the rhythm of Helga Hufflepuff." It took Sirius three tries before the wooden door opened, revealing a homely room filled with plants. Soon the boys got to work, casting spells and charming the furniture onto the ceiling. Sirius then used the permanent sticking charm Remus had taught him and made sure the charm did it's job. Once they had finished the boys creeped out and went to a large painting of a pear. This time Peter was the one that knew what to do. He tickled the pear and opened the door waving and greeting at some of the house elves. "Penny, there you are," He said walking over to a small elf.

"Hello Mr. Pettigrew, what can I do for you?" She asked.

"Well my friend and I were wondering if you could mix this potion in with the Slytherins pumpkin juice. I would forever be in your gratitude and it would mean so much to me."

"I'm afraid I can't do that Mr. Pettigrew. I would get into so much trouble."

"Alright, then it's fine. Thank you though." Peter sighed looking at his friend. Sirius then snatched the potion and walked to the jugs that said Slytherin pumpkin juice. He then poured in the potion and walked outside the kitchen. "Now we have to go to the Great Hall. Come on Wormtail," Sirius sighed.

Near the Ravenclaw common room Lily, Marlene and Amelia were walking quickly to the door. "Hang on, how on earth are we going to get in?" Lily whispered to Lia. However before she could answer the door creaked open and so the girls ran behind a wall. Then a few foot steps were heard revealing Regulus Black. "Amelia," he whispered. "Come on its almost four o'clock in the morning, Mark gets up then and we don't want the prank revealed just yet." The girls gave him a gracious smile and walked behind him to the door.
