Diagon Ally had change a lot since last summer, Amelia thought as she, James, Sirius and Regulus made their way through the street. A few shops had been broken into and some areas were closed off. "It's sad, isn't it," Amelia spoke. "Everyone's loosing so much just because of a stupid war."

"Yeah, this place just isn't the same." James said as he looked around. "I heard that loads of kids aren't going back this year. There parents think it's too dangerous."

"Why? I mean what's safer than Dumbledore," Sirius huffed. "People are stupid."

"I'm sure when you have children you'll understand that parents only want to keep their kids safe." James spoke, which caused everyone to look at him. He was never this mature. "What? Why are you all looking at me?"

"Nothing, don't worry,"Regulus managed to say for everyone. He had settled in quickly with the family and Mia and Fleamont loved him as if he was their own. Regulus still didn't know how to react to the constant attention and love but he was getting there. Sirius on the other hand love it and did anything to make his new parents proud.

"I need to get some more gloves for quidditch, so I'm gunna quickly pop into quality quidditch supplies." James said and pulled Sirius into the shop with him.

"Would you mind going to Flourish and Blotts with me? I need to get another potions book," Regulus asked. Amelia nodded her head and followed him into the shop. "I think the book I need is over here," Regulus pointed. Following him into the mount of books Amelia looked around and in the corner of her eye she saw a familiar blonde head. "Pandora!" She shouted. The light blonde looked around to see who was calling her name and saw her friend in the corner of the book shop with Regulus.

"Hey, how was your summer?" She said before hugging her friend.

"It was good, Regulus and Sirius have come to live with us," Amelia smiled.

"That's her way of saying we ran away from home," Regulus smiled and brought Pandora into a hug. "How are you?"

"Good, but my family have been going crazy. Rabastan keeps trying to convince me to join the dark lord and obviously I don't want to. My father threatened to use the cruciatice curse on me and my mother has completely stopped talking to me since she found my letters with Xenophilius." The girl looked upset, "I really don't know what to do anymore."

"We'll you can always come and live with us." Amelia sympathetically said while pulling her friend closer. The group began to chat as Regulus found and bought his book. They then walked out onto the street and were met by James and Sirius who were talking to Remus and Peter. After talking for a few minutes Mia and Fleamont told them it was time to leave. So with a last hug and a 'see you tomorrow' the family apparated home.

"Can you help me with dinner, dear?" Mia asked Amelia . "I can help, if you need anything Mia," Regulus said while smiling. "Oh thank you, I wouldn't mind the help." She said to the boy.

Mia, Regulus and Amelia all got to work. Regulus cut up vegetables and helped with the rest of Mia's cooking. While Amelia set the table and without thinking began to gaze at Regulus as he chatted with her mother. He seemed to be very good at charming people, Amelia couldn't help admire his courage as well. Regulus had managed to survive the cruciatice curse and stand up to his mother. Amelia wondered why he wasn't in Gryffindor but after thinking about it she remembered how clever he was. Ravenclaw was his house but he had so many other traits, the boy was not only intelligent but hard working, brave and ambitious. Amelia admired him for that. Little did she know, Regulus knew that she was looking at him and a small smile graced his lips.

Once the rest of the family had sat down they started dinner. "Wow mum! This is really good. Thanks," James smiled. "Oh don't thank me, Regulus helped with everything. Without him I don't know what I would have done." Mia replied.
