You were spending time with Haru, you gave him an icecream treat as a thanks for letting you stay over at his house that day and now you both were going on a latenight walk, since it was a little chilly outside, you were crossing your arms to make yourself a little warm, he quickly noticed and took off his black leather jacket and placed it over your shoulder, he leaned in closer while holding both ends of the jacket joining them and pulling you closer, you were only a few meters away from his face, you took the opportunity to analyze his facial features and get mesmerized by this beauty as tint of pink was clearly visible on your cheeks as he whispered in your ears, his hot breath being felt on your neck "you can always ask for my jacket, if you're cold, I don't mind as long it's you" you couldn't form words on how to reply "I- I don't want you to be cold" you finally replied looking away, a grin appeared on his face as he said "oh so that's what this is all about, you care that much about me?" Without hesitation you replied "yes" he held his chin with his fingers pretending to think as he went behind you and said "oh so I can do" you stared at the ground trying to hide your facial expressions since your heart was beating so hard you could hear your fast heart beat you waited for him to finish as you said "do what?" He wrapped his arms around your waist and hugged you tightly from behind putting his chin on your shoulder and replied "this way we're both warm" you chuckled and said "is this an excuse to hug me?" He replied "you catch on too fast" after a while he let go and held your hand intertwining your fingers with his, keeping both your hands warm as he stared at his watch, the time was 9:30pm and as he said while signing "time passes too fast when I'm with you, seems like you have work in 30 minutes" you quickly pecked his cheek making him flustered as you said while walking with him "we can hangout any time you want" he mumbled in a way which was inaudible "I would prefer if you called it a date" you asked "what did you say" he replied with a smile "Oh nothing but I would like to thank you for spending time with me, I've never had this much fun but you always seem to bring me light" you were left in awe by his words since no one ever has been this sweet to me as you replied as you smiled brightly "you don't have to thank me, I enjoy every second with you too, I never thought I would get this type of feeling towards anyone" he couldn't help but glance at your face and your presence was already making his heart go insane he said "I'll drive you to work" you looked at him and said "thank you, I appreciate it"
Your pov,
As we both walked to his car, he took out his car keys and pressed the unlock button, he then opened the front door of the car for me while saying "get inside" I raised my eyebrow at him, making direct eye contact and replied with a smile "you're such a gentleman, I wonder where you learn this" then I went inside and sat down as he closed the door and got in too as he started the car, I was staring at him, he buckled his seat beat and then he glanced at me and grinned, as I got flustered from getting caught, I cleared my throat and looked away staring outside the car's window as I heared him say "Hey Y/n" I turned my head and looked at him "yea-" I was about to say something but he leaned in closer to me my lips only a few centimeters away from his, he was making direct eye contact with me with compelling divine dark orbs, it was like my heart was about to jump out and kidnap him, i couldn't breath but I finally muttered some words out "w-what?" He extended his arm it was like he was going to pin me but he grabbed the seat beat from my side and buckled it for me, I mentally wanted to punch myself cause of those thoughts, my face was all red as I said "ahem thanks-" he replied "never forget safety" as he started driving, as we reached my destination.
The car stopped after parking and I said "thanks for dropping me off, do you want a croissant? It's on me" when I said that,his eyes sparkled, I chuckled, and said "I'll take that as a yes, wait here I will bring them right now", I unbuckled my seat beat and got out of the car as I walked inside the café, I saw mimi, she was cleaning up the place, she made eye contact with me and smiled, running to me and hugging me, I hugged her back, she then pulled away and said with a smile "Y/nie I missed you, you're here earlier than usual, is there something I should know" saying that she smirked and looked at me from head to toe and said "you also look like you just came from a date" I blushed and said "SHUSH, well I'll explain later" I took a paper bag and put some chocolate croissant inside and put the cash on the cashier's table and walked out of the café while yelling "I'LL BE RIGHT BACK" as I walked out I signed mumbling "she will tease me, I can sense it" I walked to the car and opened the door of the car as I handed him the bag, he smiled and said with an adorable smile "thanks for the snacks" he leaned in making me blush and pecked my nose, I wanted to scream as I thought "THESE ATTACKS ARE GETTING UNPREDICTABLE" as he said "see you later, take care, call me when you're done I will pick you up" I replied "you too and you don't have too-" he immediately said "I won't take no for an answer, I don't care if I'm being stubborn" I signed "Fine fine, sleep well" as I closed the car's door and was walking back to the café, I realized I forgot to give him back his jacket I thought "I guess I will give him later" as I entered the café, I saw mimi smirking "oh was that Haru just now?" I coughed "were you spying?" She replied with a wink "no it was a guess and I'm correct it seems" I scratched my neck and replied "he was just dropping me to work" she replied "does that mean you two were together before work, or should I say a date?" My eyes widened thinking "what is she, a detective?" I replied with a tint of blush on my cheeks "Yea we were hanging out" she raised her eyebrow "oh so when are you planning to date him? It's obvious you two like eachother" I pretended to clear my thought "fine you got me, I like him, no love him but I'm not ready to confess to him and I'm scared if I get rejected or things get awkward or even if he likes me back, I've never been in a relationship before and I want to have a stable career first" as I said that she replied with furrowed eyebrows "Atleast let him know how you feel and figure things out or someone might steal him" I replied after trying to form words "yea I will thanks, when I get an opportunity, anyways let's get to work"
Author's pov,
It was 5:50am and you felt so tired, you yawned multiple times then looked at your watch and thought "oh 10 minutes left, I should probably call Haru" you voice called him and he immediately picked up, you heard his morning voice as if he just woke up "Hey Y/n, you probably called to pick you up, stay put I'm coming" you smiled ear to ear, getting butterflies as you heard his voice "yea don't rush, arrive safely and thanks again" the call ended and you heard mimi clear her throat as she said "already acting like a couple aye? I FEEL SINGLE AND I'M NOT" you replied while raising my eyebrow while saying "then tell your boyfriend to pick you up too, also how is things between you two hm? When are you getting married?" She choked on air hearing what you said while blushing and replied "WE JUST STARTED DATING, HAVE PATIENCE, Oh wait did I hear you say "too" so indirectly you just called Haru your boyfrie-" You blushed hard and covered her mouth while saying "I never said that SHUSH" when you finished speaking, you heard a the bell ring as Haru entered the café looking breathtaking even in casual, he said and looked at you both with a confused look since you both were too close, he said "am I interrupting something-?" You quickly let her go as you both said "NO" he started wheezing "let's go then shall we?" You waved to mimi saying "bye take care" as you existed the café with haru, you called him saying "Haru" he looked over and said "yea?" you replied "aren't you going to take your jacket back?" He smiled "it looks better on you, so keep it" he replied while winking at you as you looked away and he chuckled, later you both got inside the car as he started the car, as he was staring at you, seeing how tired you were, as you yawned cause him to smile since you looked adorable, you glanced at him and asked "what's wrong?" He replied saying "hmm aren't you forgetting something?" You replied "oh right- seatbeat?" You quickly buckled your seat beat as he mumbled "good girl" as he started driving, 5 mins passed and he saw that you were already asleep, he stopped his car for a min and extended his arm tucking the strand of your hair behind your ear, picturing your facial features since you looked so peaceful soon you moved your head and rest it on his shoulder as he smiled and continued to drive his car later on you both arrived at your house, he didn't want to wake you up so he just got out of the car and opened your house's front door since your house keys were under the door mat, then came back and opened his car's door and held on to you in bridal style and took you out of the car and entered your house, carefully laid you down on your couch, suddenly you opened you eyes rubbing them and noticed you're inside your house you eyes widened as you said "how did I get here?" As you looked around and saw Haru he was scratching his neck, as you said while chuckling "thanks for bringing me home, literally" he replied with a proud look "no problem, get enough sleep today okay? Also there are better places to hide your key other than the door mat, call me whenever, see you later" you replied "I'll keep that in mind thank you and take care of yourself" as he left you covered your face with your hands because of being flustered while saying "What are you doing to me Haru?"
