Author's pov,
As the call ended, there was a moment of silence as Haru finally made eye contact with you, since you heard that his dad was coming in a few mins you said "How about we talk about this later? I will leave for now since I don't want to interfere" He blankly stared at you as he heard you. You tried to take a few steps forward towards the door but he held onto your wrist as he muttered "please don't leave." Which was audible to you, you turned your head towards him as he spoke "it's too dark outside now I don't want you to go alone, it's not safe." You thought to yourself "he does have a point but what would his dad think? I don't want to make a bad impression-" you finally said "what about your dad then?" He signed "you can either hide or I'll introduce you to him" as he thought to himself "I'm not afraid to show him who I have eyes on" he slightly grinned to himself as you panicked "where am I even supposed to hide?" You looked around his house and saw huge black curtains as you said "hmm I'm small I can hide behind them perfectly" as he said holding his laugh "oh you finally admit it?" As you huffed and said "Shut up" you went behind the curtains, peeking out a bit to see when someone will come. After approximately 2 mins you heard the door being knocked and panicked it felt as if your heart was going to jump out as you thought "how did 10 mins pass already? Keep calm Y/n you just have to stay still and be quiet. Easy right?" You shaked your head out of your thought. Haru opened the door finding his dad standing there with an intimidating look on his face as it changed into a soft one as he walked inside pulling Haru into an unexpected hug as Haru froze. He wasn't fond of this feeling but he slightly patted his back as he pulled away and said "I missed you son, I'm sorry I didn't give you enough time but now I'm here." Haru's face finally formed a smile "I missed you too and fine I forgive you." He smiled then smelled something, he came closer to Haru and looked at him with a confused look as he asked "why do you smell like lavender?" As Haru's cheeks grew red "Uh-" making his dad raise his eye brow, suddenly a sneeze was heard followed by another, you mentally cussed at yourself as you thought "why does this happen to me?" As you heard a deep cold tone "come out." knowing it's Haru's dad, you gulped and walked out trying to hide your embarrassment and avoiding eye contact, as he looked at you shocked but hid it and as he examined you then smelling a familiar lavender scent and understood what was going on from his perspective, as he slightly smirked, he looked at Haru who was currently staring at you with a worried look while he said with disbelief "Is she your girlfriend? How could you hide that from me?" Your cheeks turned crimson red,your eyes shot open as you finally made eye contact with the man. He was tall, broad shoulders, charismatic dark orbs just like haru, vibrant lips and hair pulled back with a bang falling on his forehead. As you thought "he seems so familiar?" You got a flashback.

Your pov,
I thought to myself "I'm new in this café, I should try my best to make everything perfect" I cleaned the counters while humming a soft melody after serving all my customers as I heard the doorbell ring and a customer walked in, he had puffed cheeks,messy hair, sorrowful dark orbs, he looked depressed as if he wanted to cry but couldn't. I furrowed my eyebrows as I asked "Goodmorning sir, what can I get for you?" As he replied coldly "Cappuccino extra shot" as I nodded and gave a bright smile and said "you can sit over there, I will make it quick" as he nodded and walked away. After I prepared everything, I brought it to him and placed it on the table "enjoy sir" I said as I placed a slip on the table and walked away. I saw him looking at the slip then smiling and stare at me to which I smiled back.

"How can my life get any worse? First I lost the love of my life, then I don't even get time to spend time with my only family left because of this stupid job and now it's going downhills too?Good job, you moron, I just want a tiny bit of happiness" I thought to myself and sighed then saw a café "might aswell get a coffee, I feel drained" I walked inside as a girl said with a soft tone "Goodmorning sir, what can I get for you?" I felt a bit better with how sweetly she was talking but I could only mutter a cold "Cappuccino extra shot" but then she gave me a bright smile while saying "you can sit over there, I will make it quick" I nodded and walked away then waited, I didn't even notice the time pass and she came and placed cappuccino on the table with slip seemed like a bill too then walked away. I looked at the cappuccino it had a message on it made with cream saying "You're doing great, keep it up" with a tiny heart under it I chuckled to myself feeling much better as I thought "kids nowadays are cute" as I looked at the slip that said "hope you have a good day sir and it's on the house :)" I couldn't help but smile as I looked at that girl as she smiled at me. It gave me motivation to move forward, ignoring her words I left the money on the table with a tip but I knew It wasn't enough for how grateful I am.
