Days later, Mia, Michael, and the John's were at the house of interest looking around as Sharon desperately tried to keep calm when she would talk to Mia, purposely keeping the conversations short as she didn't want anything to happen to her, especially with as intimidating as her husband looked. Mia clutched Ella close to her chest as she sat down in the rocking chair on the porch, trying to imagine herself having her morning coffee while watching the sunrise.
"You like it here, don't you?" Michael asked, coming up next to her, placing his hand on the back of the chair and rocking her gently.
"I do." She nodded, smiling as she looked up at him.
"I think I do, too."
She gasped quietly, her heart palpitating at the sudden burst of excitement, the faint alarm on her monitor going off, immediately grasping Michael's attention. "Really?"
"Yes, really," He chuckled. "Don't get too excited. That monitor has been quiet since we got here. We don't need it going off again."
"Do... Do you want to do this? I mean... To move?"
He sighed, kneeling down next to her and looking into her eyes.
When you love someone, you tend to do things you never would have thought of...
"Yes. I did a lot of thinking. I can settle with leaving all of that behind. The old me. I realize that I don't need to be where I was born to have a home,"
She smiled.
"Home is where you are, Mia. And I want to be here with you."
She looked down at Ella, who was staring at her father with curious eyes before smiling at him, making his heart flutter as he always understood that this was all worth it. "Then it's settled," She smiled, letting Michael grasp her hand before putting a kiss on her knuckles. "I'll go put an offer in."

"Thank you two so much for this opportunity," Sharon smiled from across her desk as she printed off the paperwork for the house. "I believe you will be completely satisfied with this piece of property. Oh, I meant to tell you: if you're into cattle, our cattle market is great and there is a property right next to yours that is perfect pasture for cattle. An underground well is perfect for an automatic watering system and there's a pole barn as well for them to get in out of the weather."
"Thank you. Do you know how much they're asking by chance?" Mia asked.
"I don't know for sure as the separate land contracts are run differently, but I can check and send it to you in your email!"
"Okay, that's fine. I'll definitely be interested in that in the future."
Sharon nodded, ignoring Michael's intimidating gaze as she stapled the papers together, the feeling in his gut warning him about something as it didn't sit right with him. Not necessarily Sharon, but something about her didn't sit right with him.
"Alright, here are your keys for the house and this set is for the barn. The tag on the keyring has the four-digit code for the locked door at the barn. There is also a gate at the end of your driveway that you can lock with a chain, it just doesn't have one on it right now." She explained.
"Thank you so much," Mia smiled. "We have some things to pick up back at home to bring back, but we won't hesitate to move in quickly!" She laughed.
"I'm sure!" Sharon smiled. "You two enjoy your new home. Please, contact me if you ever need anything!"

"So... Now what?" Michael shrugged as they were now on their way back to the rented cabin in Billings.
