9; 𝘊𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘢𝘻𝘦

"Is it just me, or are they more excited than usual today?" Fuyumi asked the two (Yuki and Zero) whilst holding back the crowd.

"It's that stupid event that's got them like this. When that gate opens, make sure you're ready." Zero warned Yuki and Fuyumi before Fuyumi started to flirt with the students in order for them to stand back.

The Day Class students would fawn over Fuyumi all the time, no matter boy or girl.

"WOAH YUKI!" Fuyumi shouted as some group of students rushed their way over to the Night Class gates and through to the entrance of the classes.

Fuyumi shook head, she should be focusing on her own group of boys and girls to back off.

After the Day Class calmed down, Zero and Fuyumi went to go and get Yuki.

When they got to the place Yuki was been temporarily protected in, Fuyumi slammed the door open and grabbed Yuki by the arm.

"Hey Fuyumi! What are you doing?!" Yuki stammered as she was trying to get Fuyumi's grip off her.

Fuyumi stopped at the entrance and granted Kaname a spare glance before walking out with Yuki in hand.

At complete night time, Fuyumi was walking around the hallways mindlessly, feeding off her own thoughts.

She suddenly looked forward and saw Yuki with a...Night Class student? She decided to step in real quick.

She patted Yuki on the shoulder,

"Yuki, who's this?" Fuyumi asked the brown haired human.

"Oh! She's a new transfer student! I was just showing her around!" Yuki beamed in happiness to see Fuyumi.

Fuyumi smirked at the opportunity that the Vampire was given and so she stepped forward to greet her,

"Hello, my name is Fuyumi. I got to say, you're quite lucky. Not many transfer students are in the Night Class." Fuyumi smiled at the young woman with grace and held out her hand.

The Vampire smiled and shook her hand,

"Great to meet you, my name is Maria Kurenai. I hope we get along well." Fuyumi kept her smile on her face even though she sensed something off about the girl.

"So, what are you guys talking about?" Fuyumi asked the two with hands on her hips.

"Oh, Maria is just worried about going into the Night Class's Classroom, she's quite nervous." Yuki put her finger on her chin in thinking what can she do to comfort Maria.

Fuyumi grabbed Maria by the shoulders gently and crouched down slightly to her height,

"I see that you're worried Maria, but trust me the Night Class will surely treat you nicely. I'll be making sure of that." Fuyumi mumbled the last part of the sentence with venom laced into it.

"So you see Maria! You're gonna be fine!" Yuki beamed with excitement for Maria.

"No!" Fuyumi stood in front of Maria and kicked the gun out of the Zero's hands as it landed in hers.

"You're pointing the gun at her for no reason!" Fuyumi shouted at the silver haired boy, and scolded him.

"Who are you?" Zero asked the Vampire with his voice stuttering a bit.

"I'm Maria Kurenai, how do you do?" Maria cowered behind Fuyumi as Yuki gave Fuyumi a thumbs up.

"You know, thank you so much for protecting me Fuyumi. You're nice, I like girls like you. Girls like you do taste especially nice." Maria whispered into Fuyumi's ear as she traced her fingers on her neck.

Maria let go and started to wander off again,

"Good night!" She ran off without Fuyumi giving a proper answer.

She was now a bit more suspicious of Maria. She knew about the rules at this academy, it's basically an insult to the rules if you try to compliment the smell of someone else's blood.

"If I don't get to dance with Ruka, I'll hold a grudge against you for life!" The class rep was about to run away from Yuki, Yori and Zero but a hand grabbed his shoulder.

"Would you calm down, class rep? I get even better grades than you so shut your mouth, alright?" Fuyumi looked like some type of deranged monster to the class rep when she's angry.

The class rep ran away as quickly as he could before he could get scolded anymore by Fuyumi, what. a. pussy.

Suddenly, two Night Class students were outside. In the sun? It the Vice Dorm President and Maria.

Apparently, she wanted to look at the Cafe Terrace. But Fuyumi knew she wasn't there just for that.

She made eye contact with the long haired Vampire and narrowed her eyes a bit before Maria carried on running.

Hanbusa made a show outside as well, Fuyumi was definitely annoyed that Hanbusa had purposely hugged Yuki so that she would get bullied.

"Hanbusa, if you don't mind I'd like to have a word with you." Fuyumi walked up to the blonde haired Vampire.

"Me too." Zero butted into the conversation. The three all glanced at each other, they knew it was the same thing they wanted to talk about.

"Is Maria Kurenai somehow related to that woman?" Fuyumi crossed her arms as she spoke, causing Zero and Hanabusa to be shocked that she knew of her.

"That woman?" Hanabusa questioned.

"Shizuka Hio, the pureblood that disappeared years ago." Fuyumi narrowed her eyes at Aidou with suspicion.

"The only reason why no one could find her for 4 years is because her appearance must've changed somehow." Fuyumi put her hand on her chin with thought and lots of suspicion.

She had found information of her appearance from Zero when he was young, so she kinda thought that Maria looked like her a bit.

"Zero, you're the only one who would know. Because you have a blood bond with her." Hanabusa stepped on a pillar and Zero quickly looked up to see Maria behind the window.

Fuyumi also looked up to see the girl, she tched and clenched her teeth.

"I don't know why, but she gives me a mean message. Like, 'I'll butcher you.' or something like that." Fuyumi looked away as she mumbled to herself

She had doubts that Maria Kurenai was anything normal.
